You can’t leave Riona. It’s difficult and scary, but you make up your mind to break off from the group and head back upstairs. How will you get Riona to believe you? You don’t know, but you’ll try. You scream and grab Samantha, who also screams. Kylie and Nevaeh react the same way. Apparently, you all have the same thought: that this person is over there, so you are not going that way! You all rush to the front door and unlock it, bursting out into the storm. You stagger out onto the gravel in your bare feet, looking back in terror. Who the fuck was that? Was that Olivia? A loud bang makes everyone jump! Samantha cries out and falls, and you see blood. That was a gunshot!

“Whoa!” You shriek and drop flat on the ground. That’s what you do when people are shooting at you, right? You don’t know! You’re a communications major! Where did the shot come from?

You can’t just lie on the ground in the dark. You have to do something. The house is no good, so that just leaves the cars. You need cover.
