Chapter 5
by CrocodileHAZARD
How are you recieved by the Titans?
You are not received warmly.
Crash landing in the city was bad enough, but you erratic powers didn’t help matters. In a matter of minutes a good portion of the city was already frozen over, and it was only growing from there.
Any sympathy you might have been able to scrape together was not even an option at that moment. Because you were covered from top to bottom in a large, flexible “armor” of compressed ice that gave you the appearance of a hulking juggernaut. Based on your recollection of the stories told by the Titans, you were basically 1.5 times bigger than the villain Cinderblock, but made out of ice and much bulkier and meaner looking.
At that point in time, all you knew was that you were being attacked. And you did not like that one bit.
The five heroes battled against you, and despite the numerous disadvantages working against you, it almost seemed like the fight was still in your favor. The ice, while heavy and far from easy to move, protected you very well. As it should have, since it was probably what saved you from your crash landing. Regardless, running away did not prove to be an option since you did not have speed, maneuverability, or the means to cover your escape for that tactic to work.
However, your conflict soon came to an end when you finally got a good look at the Titans. More specifically, when you got a good look at Starfire.
A fellow Tamaranean.
Suddenly, you felt at ease, and the armor that had kept you from suffering any harm during the fight to immediately crumble down. The Titans were too surprised to respond to the sudden reveal of your true form. But even with your mutated appearance disguising your heritage, you soon began speaking to Starfire in your people’s native tongue.
From there, it was practically a blur as your conversation with the Tamaranean princess worked its way to the moment when she could finally understand that you were a former prisoner of the Gordanians like her. Obviously, questions over your appearance were asked. Despite your discomfort and ****, you shared the details of your imprisonment and **** with her. The fury on her face upon learning of the other prisoners’ ultimate fate was a decent second compared to yours.
The other Titans were predictably lost. Starfire had to take a moment to explain things to them, even if she had to water down or exclude a number of details. Then came the process of them asking you a question through Starfire, and you responding through her in return until the green skinned one (whom you would later learn was named “Garfield” or “Beast Boy”)had proclaimed his annoyance with the translation process. At the moment, Starfire remembered how she had learned to speak English by kissing Robin. She suggested that you do the same to learn the language as well.
Obviously, the males were not keen on being kissed by another dude, even if it was only to help better facilitate easy communications.
So then that left Starfire and Raven.
Who do you kiss?
