Chapter 35 by fantaghiro
What's next?
You and Randall come up with a sure fire plan together.
The next day when you walked back into Randall's classroom after school, you were still fresh out ideas. You had spent the day mulling over the possibilities. You contemplated asking for Allison's help, but instead settled on complaining about the situation to her. You still felt bad about your increasing desire for Randall and didn't want to make her complicit in you cheating on her. You felt guilty enough as it is. No matter which way you twisted the situation, given the pieces, there was simply no way that your mother was in the frame of mind to be okay with you spending the weekend at Randall's. You hoped that he had something in mind to save the day. Randall saw your dejected looked and immediately smiled.
"Turn that brown upside down, buddy," said Randall, flashing Miss Card's beautiful smile. "While I was on the tread last night, I came up with the perfect plan. I don't think you are going to like all of it though," he cautioned. Though you didn't particularly care for the sound of that, you had nothing to offer. Something was certainly better than nothing.
"Alright, lay it on me."
Clearly proud of himself for putting this together, he straightened up. This is also gave you a better view of his rather large breasts that you couldn't help noticing. "So, I was going to surprise you a bit this weekend, but **** times. Before the accident, turns out the Miss Card was in the process of buying a house." He let that sentence hang in the air. It took a second for you to realize what he was saying...
"Randall! You got a fucking house?!" you exclaimed.
Randall beamed. "Oh yeah! Everything got all tied up this week, Tim. I'm the proud owner of a new house." He paused, then corrected, "Well, not 'new' technically. It was a foreclosure and needs some work, but still..."
"Still," you said. "That's awesome, dude, but I don't see how a house is going to get my mom come to let me go hang out."
"That's the part I don't think you're going to like," he said, making a cringing face that you couldn't help but find adorable. "I don't care for it either, but realistically its the only way. At first I thought we could just tell your mom you were staying at someone else's place, but I realized that at this point in time, your mom might second guess us. After you called, I started thinking about some of the stuff your mom said to you. She lightened up once you went with it, right?"
"Yeah..." you said, drawing the word out.
"So, we tell her what she wants to hear. I play it up 'extra Laura'. I tell her I'm moving away from childish things, becoming a real woman. I'll throw out enough random details to make it seem legit. Eventually, I will get around to telling her about the house and how I'm just not as strong as I used to be. How I might need to hire some help. If luck is on our side, SHE will suggest you!" Randall exclaimed. "And if she doesn't, I'll ask if I can enlist your services myself."
"Why did you think I wouldn't like this?" you asked. "Provided we can pull it off, it sounds awesome!"
"There are a couple of catches, Tim," he said, his voice taking a serious tone. "In order for this to work, we are actually going to need to do stuff around the house. And sometimes, like with yard work and stuff, you might just have to do it by yourself."
You frowned a bit. "So I basically have to be your yard guy?" Randall nodded. "Ugh..."
"Dude, silver lining, totally going to pay you," he said, obviously trying to cheer you up. As much as it seemed like you were being demoted from best bud to gardener, you knew that it was really the best shot and still spending time together. You **** a smile.
"Well, as long as you aren't a cheap ass..." you said with a laugh. "What's the other catch? Do I have to wear a uniform and call you ma'am?" Randall laughed.
"No, nothing like that. It's just, to pull this off and convince your mom, I'm going to have to go 'all woman' on her. I basically have to do it all the time to get by, kind of like how it is in class, ya know? But when I'm dealing with other people outside of school or with Miss Card's friends, I have to pretend I'm not me. It sucks, but I'm getting used to it. It's just..." Randall paused, looking uncomfortable. "Well, you've never seen me act like that before. It's going to be kind of weird."
"You sure its going to be just an act?" you asked, worriedly.
"Of course, Tim," he said. "Of course. I'm probably going to have to downplay you a bit, too. I know it's all bullshit, but I feel weird about having to act like that, ya know?"
"I know," you sighed. "It's all good though. Really. I can take it. Besides, afterwards we're going to have one hell of a weekend!" Randall smiled. "So, when is all of this going down? I mean, it's already Friday..."
"I already talked to your mom," Randall said, standing up from his desk, clutching his purse and shouldering his side bag. "Looks like Aunty Laura is coming over for dinner after all." He chuckled. "Your dad is barbequing again before the weather starts to turn and I'm supposed to take you home."
"Uh, let's go, I guess," you said. You felt suddenly anxious realizing the plan that was set to commence had already started without you knowing it. You had hoped to have more time to mentally prepare for things, but as it stood, you now had a ten minute car ride. You chatted casually about plans for the rest of the weekend while en route, mostly about what games you were going to play and the terrible junk food you were going to eat. Looking over at Randall, you realize how much this weekend must mean to him. You were quite literally the only person he could actually be himself around. No matter how difficult a situation it might be for you, Randall was always going to have it harder. However, this did not keep you from ogling the body he was now encased in. It was still so unbelievable that you had slept together. That you had finally gotten your hands on that body, a body that nearly every guy at school would kill to get their hands on. The ripe fullness of Miss Card's breasts under your fingers, the stiffness of her nipples in your eager mouth, the warm, wetness... You shook your head, trying to clear your thoughts. Thinking like that was not going to help you at the moment.
After pulling up to your house in Randall's Fiat, he gave you a serious look. "Remember, in order for this to work, you can't give any indication about things. You ready?" With a nod you both got out of the car and headed up to the house.
Walking in you were immediately greeted by your mother. "Laura! So good to see you," she said.
You could tell from Randall's body language that he was fully 'Laura' at the moment. "Thanks for having me, Jenny! It's so good to see you, too. I have so much to catch you up on." You tuned out the conversation, having little interest in the kind of idle small talk they were having. Admittedly, it was strange to see Randall playing Miss Card around people who were "in the know".
As you were starting to wander away, your mom called out, "Tim! Honey, why don't you go get your swimsuit on? David and Tabitha are already in the pool." Great. Pool party, you mentally cringed. "Laura, did you remember to bring something to swim in?"

The Ultimate Transplant
Someone you know is given a new body & life
PLEASE ADD CHAPTERS! A close friend or family member is horribly injured in an accident. As they lay dying in the emergency room, another patient dies of a brain aneurysm. Both of them are organ donors, so a surgeon decides it's the perfect opportunity for him to try an experimental surgery. He transplants the victim's higher brain (the cerebellum) to the donor's body in an attempt to 'save' a life. Amazingly it works. But the surgery was not approved so the hospital convinces the families to keep quiet, arguing that revealing this operation to the public would bring never-ending media attention to all involved. That means that the patient will have to publicly assume the identity of the donor. What will this mean to your friends and family? Who else will you tell? Although you will spend a lot of time and effort giving support, how will all this alter your relationship to the patient? And how will he or she adapt to a complete change of body and identity? Many transformation stories focus on the change or victim, so I thought it would be interesting to instead have the POV be someone who sees the change from the outside. Writers feel free to explore a change in age, gender, class or ethnicity - and the repercussions that change would have on the main character (and others).
