You Pick a Cave.

You glance around at your surroundings and feel your fatigue catching up to you. Your feet are numb and your body cold. You need the warmth of one of the nearby caves to survive, regardless of any potential monsters living within. You shiver in the cold before randomly picking a cave, hoping your luck will save you. You make your way first downwards, and then upwards towards the nearest cave. Inside is utter darkness. You swallow, knowing that there could be anything within the cave and step forwards.

Quickly the light from the outside mountain fades as you head in and downwards into the cave. You creep slowly down over a couple ledges testing with your shorter female legs for footholds before stepping entirely over. Soon you turn a corner and the darkness is all encompassing. You're glad to be out of the cold night air but the cave isn't much warmer, and with the utter inability to see you find yourself facing potential monsters within this cave. You move a little further in where you find a section of cave that is a little warmer, with a small crack in the ground that has hot air blowing from within. Finding heat you thaw your frozen toes and heat your cold naked limbs. Sitting down you curl around the cracks heat, and exhaustion and warmth quickly start to lull you towards sleep.

You know very well that sleeping here is a bad idea, but the temptation and exhaustion prove more than you can handle and soon you find yourself slowly fading into the blackness of sleep.
