You Know Her Weakness

“It’s simple, Danielle, David is her weakness. We need only capture him to encourage her to use magic.”

Danielle cackles and you join in.

“So how do we trap him?”

“Easy, sister. I simply text him to come over. After all, we’re all friends.”

You giggle.

“What happens if she doesn't use magic?”

“Then he dies.”

Your giggle turns into full fledged cackling and Danielle joins in.

You quickly text David to meet you.

Twenty minutes later David and Christina arrive. You sneak up behind them. You blow the dust from your hand at them.

Somnambrust!

They both fall down asleep.

Danielle wastes no time. You are impressed by the altar in the auditorium she has created. David is shackled to it. An enormous blade swings back and forth like a pendulum, getting ever closer to David with each swing.

You grin at Danielle. “Lovely.”

“I saw it in a movie. Now let’s wake sleeping beauty.”

Danielle waves her hands and Christina awakens.

She groggily takes one look at David and then screams. “Danielle, you bitch, what have you done!”

“Easy Christina, all you need do is cast a little spell to free him and he’ll be fine.”

“I...I..can’t do spells!”

“Give it a try dear, unless of course you want him shorter.”

She cackles. You resist joining in, preferring to stay hidden.

Christina scrunches her face.
