You Don't, You Run.

You look to Jennifer, who meets your eyes, and you both nod. You hear Filch coming up the stairs. There's not really time to figure out how to lull Fluffy back to sleep. Instead, you've got to make a run for it before he wakes up.

You both take the hallway at a run. The First of Fluffy's heads opens it eyes. The Bleary-Eyed Canine sees you and Jennifer bolting for the trapdoor and roars. You can hear your eardrums shake.

Reaching into your bag you throw the brown package directly at Fluffy. It hits the awake head in the snout and hits ground, the brown paper parting to reveal a very large steak. The other two heads awaken and fixate on the stake. As two heads tear into the steak you and Jennifer fling yourselves down the trapdoor.

Unfortunately your relief is short lived. No sooner than you make in down the trapdoor than you find yourself twisted in vines and thorns. You feel the vine tightening around you, and from Jennifer's grunts and **** gasps, its doing a number on her.

Unfortunately you can't see well enough to know what is going on. Your fingers fumble for your wand as vines begin to wrap around your throat. Struggling seems to make everything worse, but you manage to **** out a "Lumos" before you black out.

The light from the end of your wand shines in the room. You can see the tell-tale crescent leaves, and realize that you are dealing with Devil's Snare. The tendrils begin to release you, as the plant draws back from the light on your wand. Scrambling towards Jennifer you pull out a small letter opener from your bag, and with a combination of the light and blade push back the vines and pull a **** Jennifer to the next room as the snare pushes back towards you, becoming more bold as it acclimates to the light.

"Are you alright?" you ask Jennifer

She gasps for breath "I don't think I like vines."

You smile and you both laugh. You feel the adrenaline rush begin to fade and look around the room that you are in. The narrow hallway you are in is dark and cold. Water drips from the walls and ceilings sporadically. As you move down the hallway you hear the beating of a thousand tiny wings.

Jennifer gasps as she clears the threshold into the next chamber. You follow in, and your heart sinks. This had to be Professor Flitwick's chamber. Inside were hundreds of keys. Each key had a pair of brightly coloring wings and they were flying through the air like a swarm of bees just before a rainstorm. In a word: chaos. Across the room was an imposing door with a large silver lock on it.

You look to Jennifer, and she looks back. "So which one piece are you going to use to bring down the complex weave of enchantments?"

"OK, so each key appears to be autonomous." You say swallowing. "I think we're going to have to do this another way. There's a silver key with some really ruffled feathers." you say, pointing to the man-handled key. It was flying erratically. "My last galleon that that is the key we need." Scanning the room you see three brooms on the far side of the room. "Maybe we could catch them?" you say meekly.

Jennifer looks at you as if you are completely mad. "Do I look like a seeker to you, Marvolo?"

You shake your head, but before you can come up with anything else Jennifer stomps over to the brooms. She sits astride one, and picks up another. "Up," she barks. The broom lifts her into the air.

"Be ready to catch." she tells you. For the next two minutes Jennifer chases the silver key around, whacking it with the broom, disorienting it and sending it to the earth, where it immediately takes off again. Finally, she slaps it through the air right towards you and you are able to snatch it out of the air.

You let out a cheer and scramble over to the door, and open the lock. Jennifer comes up behind you winded, but beaming. "I needed that after the Devil's Snare."
