You Decide To Get Andrea Some Flowers

As you pulled away from the hug you noticed Andrea crying, "Andrea what's wrong?"

"It's just...after everything that has happened to me in the last couple days. I'm just overwhelmed but here you are helping me whenever I need it." Andrea said wiping her tears away, "It just means a lot to me, knowing that I have at least one person who is really here for me."

You let out an east smile and pulled Andrea into another hug, "Don't you worry, this will end eventually. I will work night and day to cure this and once I do you'll be one of the first to get the cure." You said while rubbing her back,

"Thank you, now you should go." Andrea said pulling away from you,

"Are you sure? I could stay for a little while." You said wholeheartedly,

"No, don't you worry about me. I'll be fine." She said trying to give you a full smile but failing,

You let out a nod and walked out of the building. Your heart ached for her, despite everything that was happening you knew that Andrea didn't really want you that way so anytime that you have to help her you know she'll regret it later. As you started to walk down towards your car you spotted a small flower stand down the road a ways.

You thought that maybe a bundle of those would make Andrea perk up a bit. You jogged over to the stand and bought her a dozen roses. You let out a smile thinking of how happy she would be just to get this simple gift. You returned to the office and went up to the thirtieth floor...
