As you take your stance, just in front of Tania, you notice a quick twitch in her legs and hips. Before the thought to question the flicker can solidify in your mind you slam into a wall behind Val. The breath exploding from your body as a throbbing pain detonates in your abdomen.

You fall to the ground, your legs barely catching and holding you as you fight to breathe correctly. As you struggle to take a full breath you try to stay focused on the area.

Tania is standing where you had been, a knowing smirk gracing her lovely lips. Obviously confident she'd made her point. Val was biting her lips as her fingers danced across the bag her instrument's in, clearly wishing she could help you here.

Standing to your full height you walk back to your opponent, taking a look at your stats as you do. Your health only took a slight dip, meaning that was just a 'love tap' with the haft of her weapon... Probably just showcasing the differences in your power.

Thinking quickly you keep your sword in a one handed grip as you return. You allow the tip of the blade to slowly dip down to touch the dirt as you hold your other arm over your stomach as if you'd been seriously injured.

As you reach Talia you swing around to circle her, keeping your sword arm towards her at all times. "What happened to 'no abilities'?" Your blade is now digging small furrow in the dirt. "Or were 'charge' style moves reclassified as weapon abilities?"

The heroine laughs lightly, the sound closer to music than any voice, except Val's, that you'd heard. Turning to keep you in front of her she quickly shrugged, before straightening her stance. "Just trying to keep things realistic "King". I trust you learned the lesson?"

Your sword is now carving a decent sized trench, "Oh, I learned a lesson from that."

You stop your walking and turn to face her head on. "You know how to cheat." You swing your sword in a wide arc, sending dust, dirt, and gravel into the air around Tania's head.

Before she has a chance to react, you dash in and slam the edge of your sword into her armored stomach. The resulting shockwave slamming into her body rockets her into a wall, much as her blow had done to you.
