Chapter 2 by FlightoftheBeers FlightoftheBeers

Who do you want to start with?

You; Dillon

You didn't have as much in common with Dillon as you did with, well, most people. She'd always portrayed a sort of happy, sassy, bratty persona and that turned you and most people off. Still, she wasn't a miserable person to be around.

When you first interned at the office, she was right there with you. While you didn't have too much overlap, you guys did talk every so often - not much to build a meaningful friendship by any means.

That is all to say, you hadn't the history with her that you had with Emma, you hadn't the chemistry with her that you had with Tegan, and you hadn't the admiration for her that you had for Aubrey. She was just there. A co-worker. She liked to be the center of attention— at least you thought so. She was loud and always drew attention to herself.

To be honest, you didn't have a high estimation of her. At the very least, your wife never thought you would have a thing for her. You could only handle Dillon in doses and those doses were the small moments that you bumped into each other at work. That girl could talk your ear off...

Coming back to work at the office after moving into town meant trying to pick up back where you left off. While you'd kept in contact with most people, you hadn't with Dillon. Neither of you had a reason to, really. And when you walked into work on that first day back and saw that she hadn't changed, you didn't really regret it.

But it had only been a week before things changed. How had you gotten into this situation? What is the situation?

What's going on?
