Yoshi, the Tanuki

"Twit-Twoo! Now this is something I liketo come home to!" The Tanuki in the pink kimino exclaimed with a laugh, giving off a howl like an excited sorority girl.

"Oh, Yoshi! Thank goodness!" Kyle said breathing a sigh of relief as he and Lucy calmed down.

"Uh, you two know this... Uh, raccoon-woman?" Uriel asked.

"Ugh! Raccoon dog-woman! Please get that right." Yoshi groaned in mock annoyance, playfully rolling her eyes as she walked closer to the gates. "But yeah. Me and Kyle go way back when Yuri and I saved his butt from those demon hunters all those months ago. Can't believe they were caught banging each other in the mortal half of the zoo, too. Aranyani had a field day after the cops dragged them away."

"By the way, is Aranyani here?" Lucy asked, gesturing to the four naked bodies. "As you can see, we need a little help."

"Sorry, she's in Ireland trying to persuade a group of pixie sprites to move in." Yoshi replied, "Which is why the zoo's closed so they can work on the plans for their little kingdom. You'd think people who can use tea cup as a jacuzzi wouldn't need a space the size of a gymnasium, but -"

"As fascinating as this is, Ms. Yoshi," Uriel began, "we're being chased by those same demon hunters right now."

"Yeah, any chance you can let us in and help us get to the other side?" Levi asked. "We're trying to get to Mazu's."

"Okay, this I gotta hear!" Yoshi said as she unlocked the gate with her key and ushered the four in.

"So, dis zoo 'as nothin' but monsters?" Trish asked as the four demon hunters scampered up to the gate, slipping through the crack that Yoshi had left open.

"Yeah." Roxie said, cringing slightly as they passed a familiar corral with a sleeping unicorn. "And the last time we were here we almost got killed by a unicorn and sprayed by a skunk the size of a jumbo jet!"

"Pew! Dat's gotta stink!"

"Ugh! I just got the smell out of my nostrils." Grant groaned, "Let's just try to find The Devil and avoid that exhibit!"

"Perhaps splitting up will allow us to cover more ground?" Amelia suggested, gesturing to a map as the four looked it over.

"Good idea!" Grant said, nodding in reply. "I'll take the reptile house and the cat enclosure."

"I'll take the bug house and small animal house." Roxie said.

"I'll search the aviary." Amelia added, "Then the desert dome."

"'Westley Manor and Cemetery'? Doesn't sound much like a zoo exhibit, but Oi'll give it a shot." Trish said with a shrug.

"Alright, and whatever you all do, avoid that one!" Roxie said as she pointed to an image on the map that read 'Aniywe'."

"Here we go, home sweet home!" Yoshi said as she lead the four to the Kitsune/Tanuki enclosure. Within seconds, the plump Tanuki ripped her kimono off and tossed it to the side before jumping into the onesen with a cannonball, splashing the four in the process.

"You know, I actually was thinking of adding one of these to our place later down the line." Levi commented to Uriel. "Of course, I'd have used volcanic thermals, but still..."

"Uh, Yoshi? We're kinda in a hurry here, and Grant, Roxie, and those other two demon hunters are on our tails." Kyle said.

"I know, but they never found you the last time you were here hiding with me and Yuri in the bath."

"Excuse me...?" Lucy asked, narrowing her eyebrows.

"Ooh! Tanuki Lady, I know envy, and that is some dangerous levels of envy." Levi stated.

"Easy there, nothing happened." Yoshi said, "Besides, Kyle's cute, but his balls are way too small."

"What?!"

"It's a tanuki thing." Yoshi replied with a shrug, "Now, why don't you guys tell me what's going one to see if I can help."
