Chapter 67 by Joe Steel Joe Steel

Do you obey?

Yes

You kneel beside him, still well within reaching distance, and still with your hands behind your back. He fondles your breasts and chin as he eats.

The king arrives shortly after the meal commences, dresses in his finest robes and with his crown on his head. Nonetheless, he waits by the door until bidden by the prince to approach.

“Your kingdom has been neglected for a hundred years,” the prince begins. “Many of your vassals have pledged to other lords, and much good land lies fallow. But you have your wealth, your court, and your soldiers. So much lies ahead of you.”

“I am in your debt,” responds the king, “but, pray, tell me your name, and of your family.”

“My mother, Queen Eleanor, lives on the other side of this forest,” said the prince. “In your time, our ruler was my great-grandfather, King Heinrik. He was a powerful ally of yours, I believe.”

You see that the prince notes the look of surprise and then that of confusion appear on the king’s face. “In those times you served your time in my great-grandfather’s castle, did you not, and your queen, perhaps, also?”

The king nods. “You are the son of a powerful monarch,” he says. You realize that the king hasn’t gazed on you, his own daughter, in all this time.
