"There you go." Leo hands Alex the glass spiked with serum and fills it with water.

"Thank you so much, you're a lifesaver!" Alex gulps down the water in one go.

Leo, intensely studying her face, immediately notices the reaction: she blushes and her breathing becomes slightly more audible.

"Is everything okay?" he asks.

"Yes, it's just- I feel so hot all of a sudden." Alex replies, looking puzzled.

"Well, that is no surprise when looking at you, to be completely honest." Leo says, deciding to be direct.

"Oh," Alex gasps, "you're so confident! You really know how to give compliments!"

"Only when the girl is as pretty as you are!" Leo smiles.

"Do you really think I'm pretty?" Alex asks, almost frightened?
