You have set up camp for the knight. Your horses are picketed nearby. Your fire lit you set up a small tent for yourself and Sofia. You make an evening meal from some rabbits you caught. Sofia has never had to sleep somewhere that wasn't her soft warm bed and is finding it hard to get comfortable.

"Are you sure we are safe? What about the wild beast? Or bandits?"

"Yes, we are safe. The fire keeps most animals away and the Dryad well keep us safe, she is the reason for this campsite and how we have got so far through the forest." You reply.

"Yes I am." The Dryad's voice sounds from behind you.

You look round. You see your green skinned lover and notice her belly is swollen like a woman ruffly 5 months pregnant. It has only been 3 days since you last saw her. "Sofia this the dryad I spoke of." You turn to the dryad "I am sorry I never caught your name. Do you have one?" You ask her.

"Dryads are the forest we live in we do not socially interact with other Dryads unless our forest merge even then we tend to stick to our own trees. We sometimes go by the name given to our forest by other races. The humans call my forest the whispering woods. They dismiss my warnings as wind blowing through the trees. You may call me Whisper" She replies.

"Ok then" You reply "Whisper, this is my half-sister Princess Sofia." You introduce them to each other. You turn to address Whisper "And since we are sharing names, mine is Aurora. Tell me it has only been three days yet you appear like a human pregnant for 5 months how is this possible?"

"Your seedlings are more numerous than a human pregnancy and they grow faster. Both factor into my appearance. Ruffly 10 seedlings will be born in about 2 mounts." Whisper informs you. "Speaking of pregnancy my senses detect levels of human hormones consistent with the early stages pregnancy from the vagina of Sofia. Your half-sister is pregnant. Congratulations."

You and Sofia both turn a deep red with embarrassment. "How do you know the sent of human pregnancy?" You ask.

"In my lifetime many a woman has fled to my forest for protection or privacy. As I do not let in humans with weapons without reason, My forest has gained a reputation as a safe haven for those without. I have had women come to bear children in secret to avoid embarrassment or persecution. I have had young loves come and breed in my forest. I sometimes tempt a woman's mate away to mate myself but I always return them. I can raise my seedlings alone whereas human women are often persecuted for having children without a father." Whisper informs you. "Tell me, lover are you the father of your half-sister's child or now that you have saved your mother are you able to stay with me to raise our young?" She asks.
