You go through a few documents on your computer, and sort a few things out but you don't have anything to do really. Everything is already in order. Duncan on the other hand seems bored rigid and is looking at everything in your room, from certificates on the wall to books on a shelf in the corner.
"So, how long have you been together... If you don't mind me asking?" you decide to make small talk since he looks like he's about to die of boredom.
"Only a few days, met a while ago though." he replies but not exactly jumping at the conversation.
"Well, hope you two are happy together. You've done well for yourself." You're not sure what else to say and that just slips out. Looks wise he's not unattractive and he's clearly from the same social class as her. They're quite a good match you imagine. Both sets of parents probably happy with the couple. But she is quite attractive and any guy wants to know his girlfriend is good.
"Hah, yes that's what people tell me. But here I am paying off her debt and she won't let me do anything more than eat her out!" He replies suddenly laughing as if out of sheer self pity and has decided the only solution is to make light of his situation.
But perhaps most comically just as he finishes Baylie herself bursts in through the door, panting a little and wearing what's obviously her gym gear.
