Sighing dramatically, you agree to get Miles' journal from the tavern. Making the fairly short trip to the tavern in the dark, you mutter to yourself about how much you don't trust Miles the whole way.

You enter the tavern, seeing it's mostly empty besides a few passed-out drunks. You approach the bartender Rodney, who grins at you as you approach.

"John!" he smiles. "What are you doing out here so late?"

"There's this new guy in town," you explain. "He's looking for his family history or something, and he left his journal here."

"Wait, you mean the guy in the trenchcoat?" Rodney asks, cleaning a glass. "He said he was here to plot out a potential new trade route, not looking for his family. And he didn't leave his book here; he made sure he had it with him!"

"W-what?" you ask, bewildered.

"Looks like he lied to you. Or me. Or both of us," Rodney sighs. But before he can even finish, you're out the door and running home. Whoever "Miles" really is, you don't want him around your mother!

You arrive at your house in record time, practically knocking the door down as your charge inside. You look around, and see your mother and "Miles" are no longer in the parlor. You glance around a moment longer, getting nervous, but then you hear your mom yell from upstairs.

You jump to attention, running up the stairs, and you hear her yell again. But it wasn't quite a yell. It was a moan. This makes you stop dead in your tracks. Is he...fucking your mom?
