Chapter 3 by KingOfBohemian KingOfBohemian

Photo time is over, do you read the diary?

Yes.

Setting the photos aside next to you for now, you look at the first page and read the title page.

"This diary belongs to...

Hannah Smith

If found please return to...

11086 N Regal Street"

Regal Street.. that's the street you lived on. Your house number was 11074...this girl, Hannah, lived only six houses down from you! What a discovery. You always take walks around the neighborhood and recalled that there was quite a large park starting a few houses down. It was popular for a lot of kids and occasionally at night the teenagers that lived around here went to the park to smoke weed and drink out of the views of their parents. Though on your adventures outside during the night time you never recalled seeing a teen there that looked like Hannah. Maybe she was just one of those girls that was just "too good" for those kinds of scenes.

Flipping that page over you look on to read the first entry.

"October 25th, 20XX,

Dear Diary,

Today is my birthday. I'm so excited, I'm finally eighteen years old and I couldn't be any happier."

"Oh thank god..." you thought to yourself, she is eighteen. It made you feel a lot better about yourself knowing that now for sure you didn't get off to a photo of an underage teen. That made you smile a little as you continued reading the diary entry.

"I feel like I've waited an eternity to turn eighteen. My parents said its an important milestone in my life. I can finally get my drivers license but I'm so nervous! I've only driven a few times with my sister and I was too scared to get my permit. Now everyone my age has a car and can drive anywhere they want. Well, I guess its not like I really have too many friends to go do things with.

Unlike my sister. She's so popular and I'm sure all the guys at school think she's so hot. Even though she's only nine months older than me they look at her and don't even notice me.

Oh, I forgot to even introduce myself to you, diary. It's probably weird that I write to you like you're a person but it just makes me feel so much better if you're like my best friend. Someone I can tell all of my secrets too and you'll never share them and always understand my pain and struggle."

You just roll your eyes a little, typical teen. The thought to stop reading the diary and move on from this boring book crossed your mind but then the photo of the teen stared at you from the top of the stack lying next to you. No, there had to be something more interesting inside this diary. It was worth it to keep reading, right?

Totally worth it, right?
