Jessica steps into the elevator and smacks the button to take her to the ground floor. The two men in polo's chase after her. The doors close just as they are about to reach her.

Jessica knew they'd beat her to the lobby, so she had the elevator stop at the second floor. Before she arrived there though, she took off her heels and tossed them aside. There was no way she'd run in them. She also tore her skirt so that she could spread her legs and allow her to sprint.

The elevator dinged and the doors slowly drew open. Jessica quickly ran out and ran to the stairs. The employees all stared in confusion as she ran past them. She made it to the stairwell and ran to the ground floor. She didn't go out into the lobby, instead she went out the fire exit. The fire alarm sounded as Jessica made her way through it. She sprinted around the building and to the parking lot. She still had her purse with her, and she snatched her kiss out of it and got in the car.

As she started the car, the two men ran out of the lobby and made a dead sprint to her car. One managed to make it over and before Jessica could put the car in drive, the driver window smashed open as a fist dived through it. The hand grabbed the steering wheel and reached for the keys. Jessica hit the man's face, but instantly knew it was useless. She opened the glove box with one hand and swung at the man with her other. Her right hand managed to get the glove box open. She reached in a grabs her Kimber Micro 1911 handgun. She switches the safety off and points the gun at the man swings his arms through the window. She pulls the trigger and a loud, thunderous pop rings through the car and air. She fires two more shots until the man backs away and stubbles to the ground and limps back up. The second man backs away after hearing the shots fired. Jessica quickly throws her car in gear and speeds away.

She makes it home and starts to pack her things to leave. She rings up her ex-boyfriend, John, and begs to let her stay there for awhile. He agrees very quickly. Jessica packed light, making sure to bring her gun and ammo.
