"Alright, here we go" Nadine states, and she closes her eyes in concentration. Jennifer's eyes widen slightly, and her figure fades away. Seconds later you feel a surge of magical energy fill the room, and the real Jennifer suddenly appears standing in front of all of you. She looks around for a moment, almost as if she is surprised, and then she collapses down onto her knees. You can see she is feeling exhausted, but she looks up at Nadine as Nadine stares back at her with wide eyes. Jennifer smiles slightly and then nods her head at Nadine.

Nadine frowns, and then she closes her eyes once more. Her hands start at her side as you feel magical energy starting to build inside of her. A glowing purple circle, like a portal, appears under Nadine's feet, and her eyes open once again, but the same purple glow is masking them. She slowly raises her hand up to point at Jennifer, and you watch in amazement as purple chains start rising out of the glowing circle. With lightning speed each chain rushes forward to clasp around Jennifer's wrists, ankles, and finally her neck.

"Do you accept Subjugation" Nadine asks Jennifer. The sound of Nadine's amplified voice sounds out.

"I do" Jennifer answers.

"Do you accept that you will be bound to me for all time" Nadine's voice booms throughout the room. You don't remember anyone stating it was for all time. That was definitely a question for later. You can feel the magical energy building more and more as more magical chains spring out from the circle. "So be it" Nadine states, and Jennifer groans as the large chain starts to squeeze her. It almost looks like it is about to crush her for a moment, but it suddenly starts to phase into her body. It phases all the way into her until it looks like just a large chain from Jennifer's chest leading into the glowing circle. It suddenly starts to slowly pull itself out of her. The links of chain disappear into the circle one by one until finally the chain pulls out a glowing orb of white from within Jennifer. It is much larger then you would have thought. Maybe four feet in diameter. You can hardly see Jennifer behind it as it is pulled out of her. The chain is fully wrapped around it, and once the orb is entirely out of Jennifer she collapses down onto the ground again. You can see she is still awake as she watches the orb travel towards Nadine.

Once the orb is directly in front of Nadine it begins to shrink in size. When it is about the size of a softball she lifts up both hands to grab it, and the large chain fades away as she holds the orb in front of her. Smaller chains snake their way up her body, and they wrap around her arms as they move towards the orb. They start to weave around the orb itself, and finally a chain net surrounds the orb entirely. Nadine lowers her hands down leaving the orb hovering in place. The other ends of the chains suddenly surge into Nadine's chest, and you see them starting to pull the orb towards her until the orb is sinking into her. Finally the orbs and chains are fully within her, and the chains binding Jennifer release their grip of her. They are quickly pulled back into the glowing circle.

"You are now Subjugated to me. The process has been completed" Nadine states, and her eyes immediately stop glowing while the circle beneath her fades away entirely. Right as the circle fades Nadine drops down to one knee and one hand on the ground. She is panting for air you can tell, but she is staring at Jennifer who is staring right back at her.

"Thank you" Jennifer states sounding weak, and she passes out right after. You rush to Nadine's side, and you hold her steady while she pants for air.

"Are you ok" you ask her right away. She chuckles sounding tired, but she nods her head.

"The spell was completed ok" Dawn asks her. Nadine starts nodding her head.

"Yes. She did not fight against it or resist in any way. I can feel her connection to magic releasing just the bare minimum to keep her alive" Nadine answers. Suddenly there is a slight rumble in the room, and you all look around at each other surprised. There starts to be a symphony of screams emanating from Jennifer. "It's her captured souls" Nadine yells over the screams "she can no longer maintain the spell holding them" she yells again. It takes well over a minute before the escaping souls started to slow, and then just as quickly as it started it was over. "We should scan her for runes" Nadine states.

"Do you want to rest for a moment more" you ask Nadine, but she shakes her head no.

You help her over to Jennifer, and Dawn stands next to you as the three of you start to examine her. "No...or at least I doubt it. It sounds like there was some kind of council that was in charge of it all behind the scenes, and I'd doubt Wendel would stop trying to get back here. For all we know she was holding them back from sending everything they have at us. We'll just have to pay attention to what they do up north" you reply.

"I believe it was, yes" you reply "I hope so at least" you add. You look back to see Nadine stroking Jennifer's hair as she kneels down next to her.

"I just can't understand why she would help Wendel. She was the first of us...the first lover Jason found. How could she betray him like that" she asks, but she isn't asking any of you.

"Dawn, do we have a spare room to put her in" you ask.

"She will need to be in my room. She has to remain close to me the first few days while her magic learns how to let her get farther away from me. It will take a few weeks before her distance from me won't matter any longer" Nadine states laying her head against your chest.

"I see" you reply, and you take a moment to think "Then I will be sleeping with you tonight" you tell her, and you feel her nod her head against your chest.

"I will have a spare bed put into Nadine's room" Dawn states.

"How is everyone else doing" you ask Dawn, and you see Dawn smirk.

"Once it was clear there was no threat they got back to the task at hand" she answers smiling.

"Good. They all deserve to have some fun" you reply and you let out a sigh, and you look over at Yvette and Jane "How are the five of you doing" you ask them with a smirk. You feel Nadine turn her head to look over at Yvette and Jane. Yvette and Jane are sitting together giggling as Nadine seems confused as to why you said the number five, but after a moment you hear her gasp. She quickly pushes away from you to stare up into your eyes, and you grin.

"Really" she asks loudly "Really" she asks loudly again when she looks over at Yvette and Jane who are still grinning as they nod their heads. Nadine just looks at them stunned, and then you can almost see her brain processing the number you had stated, and her head starts whipping back and forth between the three of you making you start to laugh. You quickly guide her over to sit down on the edge of the bed before her brain crashes.
