Chapter 4

Does Liara take advantage of the program?

Yes

“Shepard, your neural scans are… unusual,” Liara said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. She leaned closer to the console, her blue skin tinged with a faint flush as she read the data. “There’s a program running in your system. It’s… enhancing your arousal response.”

Shepard’s eyes snapped open, her heart pounding. “What? A program? Who the hell would—?”

“It’s not malicious,” Liara interrupted quickly, her gaze darting to Shepard’s face. “But it’s designed to amplify your desires. Your body is reacting to it, even if your mind is resisting. That’s why you’re feeling… out of control.”

Shepard groaned, running a hand through her disheveled hair. “Great. So I’m basically a walking sex drive right now. Perfect.”

Liara hesitated, her eyes lingering on Shepard’s flushed face, the way her chest rose and fell with each labored breath. She could see the tension in Shepard’s body, the way her hands gripped the edge of the medical bed. The commander was fighting it, but the program was clearly winning.

“Shepard,” Liara began slowly, her voice hesitant, “there might be a way to… alleviate the effects. Temporarily, at least.”

Shepard’s head turned sharply, her piercing gaze locking onto Liara’s. “How?”

Liara swallowed, her throat suddenly dry. “Physical release. If your body’s needs are met, the program’s influence might subside long enough for us to figure out how to disable it.”

Shepard blinked, then let out a bitter laugh. “You’re suggesting I what? Go find someone to… relieve me? Do you have any idea how messed up that sounds?”

“No, that’s not— I didn’t mean—.” Liara stammered, her face darkening with embarrassment. She took a deep breath, then met Shepard’s eyes again. “I’m suggesting… I could help you.”

The air in the room seemed to still. Shepard stared at Liara, her expression unreadable. “Liara, are you serious?”

Liara nodded, her voice steady despite the warmth spreading across her cheeks. “You’re my friend, Shepard. And you’re in pain. I can’t just stand by and do nothing. If this is what you need… I’m willing.”

Shepard’s eyes narrowed, studying Liara’s face for any sign of hesitation. But there was none. Only concern. Only determination. Slowly, Shepard exhaled, her shoulders relaxing slightly. “Are you sure about this? I don’t want to—.”

“I’m sure,” Liara said firmly. She stepped closer, her hand reaching out to gently touch Shepard’s arm. “Let me help you.”

Shepard’s breath hitched at the contact, her skin electric under Liara’s touch. She nodded, barely able to form words. “Okay. Okay, let’s… let’s try it.”

Liara’s lips curved into a small, reassuring smile. “Lie back. Relax. I’ll take care of you.”

Shepard obeyed, her body sinking into the medical bed as Liara leaned over her. The asari’s hands were gentle, almost tentative, as they traced the curve of Shepard’s jaw, her fingertips brushing against the warmth of her skin. Shepard’s breath quickened, her chest rising and falling with each touch.

“You’re beautiful,” Liara murmured, her voice soft but filled with sincerity. Her fingers trailed down Shepard’s neck, lingering at the hollow of her throat. “You’ve always been beautiful.”

Shepard’s heart clenched at the words, and before she could respond, Liara’s lips were on hers—soft, warm, and impossibly gentle. The kiss was slow, almost exploratory, as if Liara was mapping out the contours of Shepard’s mouth. Shepard’s hands found their way to Liara’s waist, pulling her closer, deepening the kiss.

Liara’s fingers slid beneath the hem of Shepard’s shirt, her touch sending shivers up Shepard’s spine. Shepard’s skin burned wherever Liara’s hands went, her body responding with a need that was almost overwhelming. She moaned softly into the kiss, her fingers tangling in Liara’s dark, silky hair.

“Liara,” Shepard breathed, her voice trembling. “I need—”

“I know,” Liara whispered, pulling back just enough to meet Shepard’s eyes. Her gaze was intense, filled with a mix of desire and something deeper. “Let me take care of you.”

Shepard nodded, her breath hitching as Liara’s hands slid her shirt up and off, revealing the smooth, toned expanse of her stomach. Liara’s lips followed, trailing kisses down Shepard’s neck, her collarbone, the curve of her breasts. Each kiss was deliberate, unhurried, as if Liara was savoring every moment.

“You’re incredible,” Liara murmured, her breath warm against Shepard’s skin. Her hands moved lower, unclasping Shepard’s pants and sliding them down her legs. Shepard’s heart was racing, her body trembling with anticipation as Liara’s fingers traced the sensitive skin of her thighs.

“Please,” Shepard whispered, her voice barely audible. “Liara, I—”

“Shh,” Liara soothed, her lips grazing Shepard’s ear. “I’ve got you.”

Liara’s hand moved between Shepard’s legs, her fingers brushing against the wet heat that awaited her. Shepard gasped, her hips arching instinctively toward Liara’s touch. The asari’s fingers moved slowly at first, exploring, teasing, until Shepard was writhing beneath her.

“Liara,” Shepard moaned, her hands gripping the sheets. “Don’t stop—please, don’t stop.”

Liara didn’t. Her fingers moved with purpose, curling inside Shepard with a rhythm that left her breathless. Shepard’s back arched, her body trembling as waves of pleasure washed over her. The tension that had been building inside her for so long was finally reaching its peak.

“You’re so close,” Liara whispered, her voice low and husky. “Let go, Shepard. Let yourself feel it.”

Shepard’s body clenched around Liara’s fingers, her breath catching in her throat. Her vision blurred as the pleasure overwhelmed her, her mind spinning as she finally surrendered to it. She cried out, her voice echoing in the small room as the waves of ecstasy crashed over her.

Liara’s hand stilled, her fingers gentle as she eased Shepard through the aftershocks. Her lips brushed against Shepard’s forehead, her breath warm against her skin. “You’re okay,” she murmured. “You’re okay.”

Shepard’s body relaxed, her breathing slowly returning to normal. She looked up at Liara, her eyes filled with a mix of gratitude and something else—something she couldn’t quite put into words. “Liara, I… thank you.”

Liara smiled softly, her hand resting on Shepard’s cheek. “Always, Shepard. Always.”

Does it help?
