Chapter 5 by Obelx Obelx

Try the app again?

Yes

After a long day of classes, Jake was finally back home, the familiar comfort of his room a welcome relief. He tossed his backpack onto his bed and kicked off his shoes, pulling out his phone as he sat down at his desk. The strange app still lingered in his mind, and despite Mike’s warning, curiosity got the better of him.

He tapped on the spiral icon again, expecting nothing to happen like before. But this time, the screen flickered to life. A simple message appeared:

**"Input data of subject."**

Jake furrowed his brow, staring at the screen in confusion. “Subject? What the hell does that mean?” he muttered to himself. Below the message was a prompt to upload an image. The app seemed to want a picture of something—or someone.

“Okay, let’s see what this thing wants,” Jake said, more to himself than anyone else. He tapped the upload button, which opened his phone’s photo gallery. He scrolled through the pictures, trying to figure out what the app was looking for.

After a few moments of trial and error, selecting random images of landscapes and objects with no success, Jake accidentally tapped on a picture of his mom, Karen. The photo was from a recent family outing, showing her smiling warmly at the camera, her fit figure accentuated by the sundress she was wearing.

The moment he selected the photo, the screen flashed green, and the app displayed a new message:

**"Success."**

Jake’s eyes widened as the app’s interface changed. The photo of his mom was now displayed prominently at the top, and below it was a series of stats and information. His confusion deepened as he read through what was listed:

**Name:** Karen

**Age:** 42

**Relationship:** Mother

**Likes:** Yoga, Cooking, Family

**Sexual Preferences:** Normal sex

**Fetishes:** None

**Corruption:** 0

Jake swallowed hard, his heart pounding in his chest. “What the hell is this?” he whispered, his mind racing. The app seemed to know everything about his mom—her likes, her preferences, even her sexual habits. He felt a strange mix of guilt and curiosity as he continued to scroll through the information.

At the bottom of the screen was a blank text field, accompanied by a label that read:

**"Enter Command or Suggestion:"**

Jake’s hand trembled slightly as he stared at the empty field. The reality of what he was looking at began to sink in. This app wasn’t just some weird glitch—it was something much more powerful, something that could potentially influence his mom in ways he could barely comprehend.

But before he could think too much about it, his curiosity took over. He hesitated, his fingers hovering over the keyboard. He wasn’t sure what he could—or should—type. The app had said his mom only liked normal sex right now, but what would happen if he suggested something different? Or something completely unrelated?

Try the app?
