I followed Tim’s lead as he stepped back into the house.

It was nice, furnished much like you’d expect a family home to be. Pictures of family get together and portraits hung on the wall with some eclectic artwork here and there. Tim led me into the living room.

“So, like I said, all bills paid just $500 a month for the room.” He said.

“Do you live alone here?” I asked.

“Oh no, my son still lives here. He’s upstairs. He goes to the university as well, he just finished his freshman year.” Tim explained.

“Just looking for some extra income at the moment,” Tim continued, “and if you like it around here you’re more than welcome to extend into the school year. Should be a decent bit cheaper for you. But, that just an option if you’re interested down the line!”

I followed Tim down the short hallway to the room. It wasn’t anything fancy, but it was furnished with the essentials and had a desk.

Everything looked decent. Then I realized something. There was no bedroom door.

“Where’s the door?” I asked innocently.

“Oh duh, that. This was my office for a long time while I worked from home, but I’m back in office now so I converted it back to a bedroom. I had taken it off its hinges and tossed it without thinking twice. I can get another one this weekend, if that makes you feel more comfortable. I really didn’t have much to ask as Tim walked me around the rest of the house. Nice kitchen, living room, pool, shared bathroom. Nothing of note really. Upstairs was just his son’s room. While we were talking around back, I heard someone come down the stairs and assumed it was his son. “Naked? Just all the time?” I asked, surprised. I’d known that nudists existed but I never thought about actually meeting anyone who lived that way.

“Yep! When it’s just the two of us, when certain friends are over, really anyone clued in on our way of life. Some join, some don’t. You wouldn’t be required to be naked by any means, but that is the last thing to know. Gage and I would love to have you but this is our way of living.” He said.

“Can I think about it?” I asked, really just trying to be honest.

“Of course buddy, just let me know!” Tim replied.

I headed back to my dorm filled with boxes with nowhere to go to contemplate my decision.

Could I do it? Live with a couple of guys who were naked all the time? I mean, sure? I know what naked guys look like, and being gay I’m not upset about being around naked guys. And I guess I would get used to it.

I glanced at my boxes.

There was still a fear. Of the unknown. And of being encouraged to do it myself. I don’t know if I could get naked around a couple of strangers whose house I was living in. What do I do?
