Rani walks into the building and sees that no one is in the foyer, she goes up to the office that she was directed to go to and as she makes her way through the office, trying to locate Kimiko, Rani notices something peculiar. There are women of all races frantically packing up their desks and gathering their things. Some of them cast fearful glances at Rani as they quickly make their exit.

Rani starts to get a sinking feeling in her stomach. Did someone tip them off about Scott's intentions? Is she walking into a trap? But her fear is quickly replaced by determination as she remembers her daughter's safety is on the line. She needs to find Kimiko and get out of here as soon as possible.

She looks around before seeing Kimiko, Kimiko was a petite woman with delicate features and smooth, flawless skin. Her long, black hair cascaded down her back in soft waves, framing her heart-shaped face. She had almond-shaped eyes that sparkled with intelligence and a small, slightly upturned nose. Though she was currently in distress, her natural grace and elegance still shone through.Her petite figure was clad in a sharp black blazer and skirt, she exudes confidence and grace in her tailored business suit, the crisp lines accentuating her slender figure.

Kimiko her sitting at her desk, typing away on her computer. She takes a deep breath before approaching, immediately noticing the tension in the room. Rani goes up to her and says, "Excuse me I was supposed to start work today but I am too scared, who can I go to in order to tell them I quit." In a quiet voice Kimiko goes, "you can talk to Maribel she is over there," pointing to the latina women who is working with several white women to help back up stuff.

Rani sees several boxes next to Kimiko and says, "Do you need help taking those to your car, I can at least help a fellow woman out."

Kimiko smiles and says, "That is so nice, thank you I am so scared, I have finished everything here I just need to get to my car without a white man seeing me." Rani's heart sank at Kimiko's words. She couldn't believe that someone like Kimiko, a successful and accomplished woman, would have to worry about being seen by a white man just to leave work safely."I can walk with you if you'd like," Rani offers, knowing that she needs to get out of there as well.Kimiko nods gratefully and the two women gather up the boxes, making their way towards the exit.

"Thank you so much," Kimiko says to Rani, completely unaware that Rani is leading her to her doom.
