Chapter 5
by NewSlowBurnStories
Are they going to go on a boat trip with Marcus?
Yes
As the group continued their conversations, the sun climbed higher in the sky. The atmosphere was light and fun, with Marcus subtly maneuvering the dynamics to his advantage.
The boat trip was looking to be an exciting adventure, and Marcus was determined to ensure that he remained in control. And as the morning drew to a close, he knew he had taken another step closer to his goal.
The sun was high in the sky as the group approached the dock, where Marcus's impressive boat was anchored. With the shimmering waters reflecting the sun's rays, the boat looked nothing short of luxurious.
"Wow, Marcus! This is an amazing boat," Milena exclaimed, holding onto Tim's arm.
"Thank you, Milena. It's one of my favorite places to relax. I hope you all enjoy it," Marcus replied, shooting a quick glance towards her, trying to gauge her reaction.
Susan quickly interjected, "I've been on this boat before. Trust me, it's going to be fun!" She winked at Deshawn, who wrapped an arm around her waist.
As they all climbed aboard, Marcus directed them to the deck area where comfortable seats and chilled drinks awaited them. He had indeed thought of everything.
"To a memorable day!" Marcus toasted, raising his glass.
"To new friendships!" Tim added, a slight nervousness still evident in his voice.
Marcus quickly saw an opportunity and decided to make his first move. "Milena, would you like a quick tour? I can show you the best spots on the boat."
Milena hesitated, looking at Tim. "Maybe later, Marcus. I want to sit here and enjoy the view with Tim."
Marcus masked his disappointment with a smile, "Of course, anytime."
The boat started to move, and the cool breeze felt refreshing. Tim and Milena sat close, lost in their world, while Susan and Deshawn seemed engrossed in their conversation. Not one to be deterred, Marcus played some soft music in the background and soon announced, "Who's up for some fishing?"
As he handed out fishing rods, Marcus deliberately handed Milena the one that seemed a bit complicated. "Milena, you might need some help with that one," he smirked.
She frowned, trying to figure it out. "Oh, it does seem tricky."
Seeing his opportunity, Marcus moved closer. "Here, let me help you." His hands brushed against hers as he showed her the technique, all the while sneaking glances at her.
But Milena's focus was solely on the task at hand, and once she got the hang of it, she thanked him and quickly returned to Tim's side. Marcus, realizing that his attempts were going unnoticed, decided to change tactics.
"Lunch is served!" He announced after a while, guiding everyone to a table set with delicious food. Seating was strategic, with Marcus placing himself next to Milena.
Through the meal, Marcus continued to engage with Tim, trying to win his trust. "You know, Tim, I've been thinking about our conversation earlier. I genuinely believe we could create something phenomenal together."
Tim, flattered by the attention, replied, "It's an intriguing idea. I'm willing to discuss it further."
After lunch, Marcus suggested a game of cards. Susan, always up for games, was excited. "Let's pair up! How about Milena and Marcus against Tim and me?"
Milena felt a twinge of discomfort but didn't want to seem rude. "Sure," she agreed reluctantly.
As the game progressed, Marcus tried his best to create moments of closeness with Milena, using the game as an excuse. Whenever their hands touched, he'd hold on just a bit longer, trying to catch her eye.
But Milena was steadfast. She laughed, enjoyed the game, and whenever Marcus tried to get close, she would subtly move away, making it clear that her loyalty and attention were for Tim.
Feeling a bit frustrated, Marcus excused himself for a moment, whispering something to Deshawn on his way out. Deshawn nodded and soon announced, "How about some water activities? I've got some jet skis we can use."
Susan was thrilled, "Oh, that sounds fun! Tim, you and me on one?"
Tim, not very keen on the idea but not wanting to disappoint Susan, agreed, "Alright, but you're driving. I’ve never done this before"
As they all moved towards the water, Marcus approached Milena, "I've got a two-seater jet ski. Care to join me?"
Milena hesitated, "I'm not sure... I've never been on one."
Marcus smiled confidently, "Don't worry, I'll drive. It'll be safe."
Just as Milena was about to decline, Susan interjected, "Oh, come on, Milena! It'll be fun! Tim and I will be right beside you."
With no way out, Milena reluctantly agreed. As they set off, Marcus tried to engage in light conversation, hoping to break the ice. But Milena's mind was elsewhere, her thoughts on Tim and their beautiful relationship.
As the jet skis sliced through the water, Milena couldn't help but admire the vast expanse of the ocean around her. The salty breeze tickled her face, and she held onto the handlebar grips tightly.
"How are you feeling?" Marcus shouted over the roaring engine, glancing back at her.
"I'm okay," Milena replied, trying to focus on the horizon and not the man driving the jet ski.
"You're doing great! Just relax and enjoy the ride," Marcus encouraged, slowing down a bit to allow Tim and Susan to catch up. As their jet skis neared each other, Marcus winked at Susan, who shot him a conspiratorial smile. It was evident that she was in on his plans to get closer to Milena.
"Isn't this exhilarating?" Susan yelled over to Milena, her voice filled with excitement.
"It is! A bit nerve-wracking, but fun!" Milena admitted, trying to put on a brave face.
Tim, meanwhile, was struggling to find his balance on the jet ski, looking a bit out of place. Seeing him trying so hard for her sake warmed Milena's heart. She felt a pang of guilt for leaving him alone with Susan and made a mental note to spend more one-on-one time with him for the rest of their vacation.
As the afternoon wore on, the group decided to take a break, anchoring the jet skis near a secluded sandbar. They hopped off and waded through the clear blue water to the white sandy shore.
Marcus seized the moment to get closer to Milena. "Ever tried snorkeling?" he asked, holding out a mask and snorkel.
"No, never. Is it difficult?" Milena inquired hesitantly.
"It's simple. Here, let me show you," Marcus said, moving closer. Milena took a step back, feeling cornered.
"I think I'll just watch for now," she replied, casting a longing look towards Tim, who was engrossed in a conversation with Susan.
Tim approached her, looking a bit sheepish. "I'm sorry I left you alone. Susan was just telling me about a project she's working on, and I got distracted."
Milena smiled, taking his hand. "It's okay, Tim. I am just happy to be back with you"
Tim looked deep into her eyes, squeezing her hand. " You're the love of my life, Milena."
The two shared a tender moment, oblivious to the world around them.
Back on the boat, the group settled down with drinks in hand, recounting the day's adventures. Susan, ever the social butterfly, regaled them with tales of her wild nights out in South Florida, while Deshawn spoke of his experiences co-owning nightclubs.
Marcus, meanwhile, couldn't help but steal glances at Milena, trying to figure out a way to win her over. She seemed to be steadfast in her devotion to Tim.
As the sun began its descent, casting a golden hue over the horizon, Milena cuddled up to Tim. "This has been a day to remember," she whispered.
Tim kissed her forehead. "Every moment with you is special, Milena."
The boat headed back to the dock, with Marcus deep in thought. His plan to woo Milena had hit a roadblock, but he was not one to give up easily. As the day drew to a close, he was already plotting his next move.
The evening sun bathed the boat deck in golden hues. It was a picture-perfect setting with the distant sound of waves lapping, the laughter of the group echoing, and the subtle background music Marcus had set.
Susan, her mind racing, gazed at Milena from the corner of her eye. She had observed how Marcus tried every tactic in the book to grab Milena's attention throughout the day. It irked her how Milena was blind to Marcus's charm. Secretly, she yearned for Milena to enjoy the thrill of being with someone assertive and dominant, someone like Marcus.
Susan turned to Deshawn and whispered, "I just can't watch Milena with Tim anymore. I want her to experience more passion, more excitement."
Deshawn squeezed her hand, understanding her concern. "She's a grown woman, Sus. It's her choice."
But Susan was determined. She had acquired some pills from a friend that heightened arousal, and increased attraction for masculine men. And tonight, she decided to use them. However, she knew she had to be careful. A subtle change was what she was aiming for, not a drastic one. "Just a little push," she thought, "Milena deserves to feel alive."
"Anyone for cocktails?" Susan cheerily called out, holding up her mixing kit. Everyone cheered in agreement.
Deshawn looked at her, puzzled, "Since when do you make cocktails?"
Susan winked, "Since now. Trust me; I've learned from the best."
She began mixing drinks for everyone, ensuring they were distracted by the beautiful sunset. As she poured out the drinks, she discreetly dropped a half pill into Milena's cocktail, crushing it well so it dissolved entirely.
"Here you go," Susan said, handing Milena her drink with a big smile, "A special one for the bride."
Milena giggled, "Oh stop it! It's been months since the wedding."
But as she took her first sip, the taste was impeccable. "Wow, Sus! This is amazing. You should seriously consider bartending."
Everyone laughed, including Tim, who was visibly more relaxed after a day of anxiety around Marcus. He held Milena close, whispering sweet nothings, grateful for the moments he got to cherish with his wife.
The group chatted away, discussing everything from their favorite holiday memories to future travel plans. But as the evening progressed, Milena started to feel different. There was a warmth spreading through her, a tingling sensation she couldn't quite place.
"Are you okay?" Tim asked, noticing the slight flush on her cheeks.
Milena nodded, "Yeah, I just feel a bit... warm. Maybe it's the drink."
But Susan knew exactly what was happening. The pill was taking effect. She glanced at Milena and could see her becoming more aware of her surroundings, her senses heightened. It was working.
Feeling bold, Marcus initiated a dance. "How about we get some moves on this deck?"
Deshawn was the first to stand up, pulling Susan to the dance floor. They moved with the grace of two people perfectly in sync with each other.
Tim, not much of a dancer, encouraged Milena, "Go on, have some fun. I'll watch."
Milena hesitated but felt an unusual urge to dance. As she moved to the rhythm, Marcus approached her, "Mind if I join you?"
Before she could answer, he took her hand and began leading. Milena felt a rush of excitement. Not from Marcus's touch, but from the music, the atmosphere, the intoxicating mix of the cocktail and the pill's subtle effect. She lost herself to the beat, laughing and twirling.
Tim watched from the sidelines, a pang of jealousy hitting him. But he trusted Milena implicitly.
Susan, watching the scene unfold, felt a mix of guilt and satisfaction. She didn't want to hurt Milena, but she felt she was doing her friend a favor.
As the song ended, Marcus and Milena, breathless and laughing, rejoined the group. Milena's eyes searched for Tim, and as soon as they locked eyes, she rushed to his side, hugging him tightly.
Deshawn, trying to lighten the mood, announced, "How about we head to my club tonight? Drinks on me!"
Everyone cheered in agreement, unaware of the storm that was silently brewing beneath the surface. The night was young, and anything could happen.
The night was taking a turn, as Deshawn’s club loomed in front of them. The neon lights illuminated the streets, and the sounds of music pumped up the atmosphere. The group made their way inside, welcomed by the flashing lights and the high-energy vibe.
Susan and Deshawn led the way to the VIP area, with Marcus, Milena, and Tim following closely behind. As they settled into the luxurious booth, Deshawn ordered a round of drinks for everyone.
Tim was visibly uncomfortable, and Milena could sense it. She gently squeezed his hand, whispering, “We don’t have to stay for long, okay?”
Marcus, always observant, noticed the interaction. He leaned in towards Milena, “This place is amazing. Deshawn has done a great job.”
Milena nodded, “Yes, it’s beautiful.” She noticed the way Marcus was subtly trying to draw her attention, but she was more concerned about Tim's discomfort.
Suddenly, a popular song started playing, and the dance floor came alive. Susan jumped up, pulling Deshawn with her. “Come on, guys! Let’s dance!”
Tim shook his head, “You go ahead, Milena. I’ll stay here.”
Before she could reply, Marcus interjected, “How about one more dance? I promise to return you to Tim safely.”
Milena hesitated, but she also didn’t want to seem rude, so she nodded, “Okay, just one dance.”
As they made their way to the dance floor, Milena felt the heat, the beat, and the subtle effect of the pill mingling together. She was caught up in the sensation, the music coursing through her veins.
Marcus took the lead, swirling Milena around gracefully. She matched his steps perfectly, their bodies moving in tandem. But as they danced, Marcus's grip tightened, his body moving closer. Milena could feel his breath on her neck, sending unexpected tingles down her spine.
However, her heart and mind were with Tim. Even though the effects of the pill were evident, her love and loyalty to Tim were unwavering.
As the song came to an end, Milena excused herself and hurriedly made her way back to Tim. She wrapped her arms around him, burying her face in his chest. “I love you,” she whispered.
Tim smiled, “I love you too. Always.”
Marcus returned to the group, grabbing a drink and settling down beside Deshawn. He looked at Susan, raising an eyebrow as if questioning her plan. Susan gave a subtle nod, indicating that things were moving as per her plan.
The night wore on, with everyone enjoying themselves. However, as the clock struck midnight, Tim felt the exhaustion creeping in. “Milena, can we head back? I’m really tired.”
Milena nodded, “Of course. Let’s go.”
As they got up to leave, Susan stopped them. “Already leaving? The night is still young!”
Milena smiled apologetically, “We’re both exhausted. Maybe another time.”
Deshawn added, “Safe travels, guys. Enjoy the rest of your vacation.”
Marcus watched them go, his eyes lingering on Milena. He knew he had to play it cool, biding his time. But the night had given him hope.
As Milena and Tim walked back to their hotel, hand in hand, the events of the evening played in their minds. Tim squeezed Milena’s hand, “You know, no matter what happens, I’ll always be by your side.”
Milena looked into his eyes, “I know, Tim. And I promise, it will always be you and me.”
How are they going to start the next day?
