Chapter 7 by Cell Gaze Cell Gaze

Will Summer's mind be wiped?

Yes

Summer's arms strained against the horrible chains around her wrists, her entire body weight pulling her down towards the horrible mouth of the room. Worse was yet to come however, as a searing heat began to rise up, as though there were a fire below her. She could feel the sweat beads trickle and tickle at her armpits and crotch. What made it worse was that she had no idea what was going on. With her blindfold on, it was almost like she was suspended in space, the darkness insurmountable.

Despite her blindness, she felt a flash of bright white light begin to hum around her, emanating at the edges of her visor. She could feel the heat all over her body now, rising up her legs, then her waist and torso, before finally it reached her head. It was almost like she was being doused in fluid, covering her from head to toe in an odd glistening sensation. Her skin tingled. It wasn't unpleasant she realised, almost like being rinsed and squeezed like a sponge.

She could feel something entering her mind, some kind of **** that permeated her very being. It probed through her memories, her origins, her likes and dislikes, her friends and crushes, her enemies and frustrations. Was this the download? She'd imagined it would be painful, like a drill into the mind, but instead it felt strangely serene. The hum grew louder and louder as the process built up more and more. Unbeknownst to her the loading screen on the monitor by the pit showed 15% - 20% - 25% towards complete download. All the while Summer was oblivious in this odd, sensual dream-state.

The download continued without pause, reaching up to 90% - 95% before finally reaching 100%. Tenaya 7 breathed a sigh of relief. She'd feared some kind of attack from the Rangers at the last second, but no such event occurred. Maybe they really had abandoned her, she smirked. She looked up at the dangling Yellow Ranger, thinking of all the things she could do with such a pliant, obedient girl. Obviously Venjix would want her out fighting on the field. A Power Ranger, de-powered or not, was too good to just leave in the Palace, but Tenaya could see plenty opportunities for some downtime.

Now that they had all the information they needed, it was time to begin the mind-wipe.

Summer wasn't aware of it at first. The strange atmosphere she now existed within prevented her from thinking too clearly, but as memories began to ebb away, a small voice of panic began to creep in. Wait, what's happening? She shifted a little bit, trying to fight her bonds, but it was no use, the heat and light had utterly drained her of energy. She could see faces, but couldn't remember their names, and then they disappeared forever. Andrews, Scott, Dillon, Ziggy...all of them faded into oblivion as her mind was stripped away like her body. Soon the panic too began to subside, because what was there to panic about?

She was in a nice, if not strange environment. She knew her arms were raised up and that she felt hot and sweaty, but she couldn't remember why. She licked her lips like she was licking them for the first time. Did I just kiss someone, she wondered? She began to notice another sensation, like she was levitating, no, that wasn't it, she was descending somehow. Her bare feet touched the cold metal grating of the room. Yowch, I don't like that, she thought. Where am I? Why can't I see? Have I ever been able to see? I'm sure I have...?

The visor was lifted from her head, causing the former Yellow Ranger to blink haphazardly. She looked around herself dumbly, trying to focus, her head feeling light. Am I naked, she wondered? She looked down and realised that she was. How odd. She looked up, and standing before her was a strange but very attractive young woman, dressed in a purple suit with long black braided hair. The woman smiled at her.

"Hello," the young woman said with a mischievous look on her face.

The woman that was Summer tried to reply, but she realised this was the first time she'd ever spoken, "He-Hello? Who-what?"

"It's okay," the young woman said, reaching up and removing her wrists from her bonds. Why was I hanging up like that, the blonde girl wondered. "You're safe now," the black haired girl murmured reassuringly,

"But what, who are...who am I?" the girl that was once a Ranger stammered,

"Don't you remember, silly?" the girl teased,

"No..."

"You're all mine."

What's next?
