After a while in the back of the caravan, Mindaris heard the sound of a city. People walking and talking, dogs barking, the shock of metal against metal, ... It was a lot more noisy than the elven capital. But at least it was civilisation. And now she had to find a way to get out discreetly.

But there was no luck in that. The vehicle stopped and Mindaris heard men coming at the back. The light of the day entered the caravan as they opened the back. She tried to hide but with no success.

"Hey, be careful ! I saw a goblin in the back !" One of the guys said.

"That little shit must have made a feast with the stock." The other grumbled.

Being caught, Mindaris had no other choice to try to calm the situation.

"I-I was gonna pay for that..."

"It's a female." One of the guy commented.

"You have money for the food ?" The other asked her.

"I... No, but I can work ?"

"She seems smarter than most of those little critters."

"Mmmh... yeah... She still maybe dangerous."

"No, I'm not I swear !"

"Get out of here, slowly..."

Mindaris slowly poke her head from behind the back. A blond guy and a gray haired one were looking at her.

"She has a pretty face." The blond said.

The other one looked at him with some disgust.

"It's a goblin, who knows where her coochie went. They fuck anything that move." He said.

"I don't !" The princess protested.

"You're naked." The gray haired one said.

"I... I lost my clothes ?" She explained without any conviction.

She jumped out of the vehicule and looked at the men twice her size.

"If you want to work, you'll need clothes first, and then, what can you do ?"

"I can use magic, I know light, magic missile, levitation and invisible hand."

It seemed to surprise the men and they looked at each others in disbelief.

"A goblin knowing magic is sure quite rare !" The old man commented.

They both seemed to think hard. And Mindaris started to fear that they try to sell her or something of the like. She had to think fast to avoid that.
