"I was trying to escape from some men, and tried to hide in a barrel, but I guess one of your men picked it up and stored it on your ship," you tell him. It doesn't take a mind reader to tell that he doesn't full belive you.

"Why were they after you?" he asks, leaning back on his desk and crossing his arms. Much to the captain's surprise, you remove your shirt and drop it onto the ground. You turn your back to him and remove the cloth bindings you used to hide your feminity. As the cloth falls away, a large tattoo is revealed.

"I don't know exactly what it's of," you tell him, crossing your arms over your breasts as you hear him stand, then approach to inspect the design. "They think it's some sort of map or something." You can feel his hot breath on you back and you shiver. He places his finger and slowly traces over the design, making you quite nervous.

"Hmmm. I definately don't understand the script on here, but perhaps it's a costline or something. Nothing I've ever seen, I c'n tell you that." He says, taking a step back. "Now, tell me why I'm going to let you stay on this ship." You kneel to the floor and pick up the discarded shirt and slip it on before turning around, the captain's face as stern as ever.

"I know how to work," you plead. "I know how to sail. I noticed you didn't have that many men. I can help. I'll earn my keep." He looks you over once more and shakes his head. "Well, you must have been born under a lucky sign, girl, because I'll give you a chance, but you'd better work twice as hard as anyone else."

You don't feel quite so lucky.
