Power Girl’s voice had changed; now it was labored, breathing very frequently as if she were tired.

“No… she didn’t really use any of that… Hey, are you feeling okay?” Zack asked, more confused.

Power Girl didn't say anything for a few minutes that seemed like an eternity to Zack. She just stared at the young man very intently. Then she shook her head from side to side as if she'd woken up from a deep sleep to respond.

"Mmm... oh yeah, I'm amazing... oh, I mean, I'm amazing... mmm, I am Power Girl after all," she said in a distant voice.

Zack's confusion turned to concern. He thought it might be something Kryptonian or the stress of being a superhero. Looking down, he realized they had gone past his house.

"Hey, you missed my house. It's in the back."

"Oh, Rao! I'm so sorry; I don't know what came over me," Power Girl said, somewhat exaggeratedly.

Her new attitude made his arousal even stronger, and he was afraid the heroine would find out.

"No, it's nothing. Besides, you saved me, and I'm grateful for that."

"How kind… mmm," he took another deep breath. "By the way… Sniff… What's your name?"

The question threw him off a bit. Usually, girls didn't say more than two or three words, and now the woman of steel wanted to know his name.

“Zero, Zack Zero,” he said, trying to sound as serious as possible.

“Heh, heh, heh… what a cute name… mmmrrrr,” Power Girl said, letting out a light purr.

It was the first time someone had ever said something like that about his name, but Zack really liked it.

“It’s here,” Zack said.

Once on the ground, our protagonist's little adventure seemed to be coming to an end, but he saw the blonde still there, her long legs rubbing against each other, her face sweaty, and her hands playing rather nervously.
