Katies sends a message asking her to come over and talk and sara quickly replies “ I just got off work a little bit ago I can be there in 10 minutes”. Katie responds giving her their address closing up the laptop she waits nervously. She starts to make dinner boiling some noodles and warming up some sauce tossing garlic bread in the oven. Just as the noodles are boiled Richard and Katie hear a knock at the door. Richard moves to answer and is greeted by Sarah‘s beauty once again. “ hey there long time no see come on in” he chuckles at his bad joke.

Sarah smiles and enters the house she is wearing A black skirt and a white belly shirt showing off her fit slim stomach. Sarah slips off her flats and Richard guides her to the dining room where the food is already served. “Hi doctor….Sarah” Katie corrects herself. They all sit down Katie and Richard obviously a bit nervous. Sarah is the first to break the silence between eating “ so you guys probably have some questions“ Katie and Richard nods “ your profile said you had two pregnancies did you carry to full-term?” Katie asks shyly. Sara nods happy to answer any questions “ yes I was a surrogate two times before once when I was 18 and again at 21” she smiles happily looking at both of them.

This goes on for a while them asking questions Sarah lets them know she has a clear family medical history and her own medical history is clear. She also lets them know that she is able to move into The guest bedroom so Richard and Katie could experience the entire pregnancy, which they seem to love the idea of. Once dinner is over Sarah brings up the subject first. “ so if we went through with this how are you guys planning on making the pregnancy happen. Both Katie and Richard freeze in place they had not thought about how without IVF The surrogate would get pregnant. After a few moments of silence Katie speaks up “ I guess… If you would be OK with it Richard could impregnate you …naturally”Katie blushes.

Richard looks at Katie shocked at first but as her pleading eyes look at him he nods in understanding. “ well normally I would say no, but I know you two are a strong couple and have been trying for quite a while now…so ok” another pause in the conversation and Katie speaks up “when umm when are you ovulating?” She asks Shyly pouring them all another glass of wine. Sarah pulls out her phone and opens an app typing in a few things she smiles “ starting today actually“ she shows Katie and Richard her phone. They all nod in understanding “ok more questions?” Sarah asks looking at the both of them. They both shake their head and Katie pours her self and Sarah a little more wine. “ this is all moving pretty fast but as long as you both are sure I think I am OK as well” Sarah says.

They all stand up finished with dinner and Katie looks at Sarah “ well I can show you to your room if you want“ Sarah nods and follows behind Kati to the Guest room right down the hall from the kitchen and connected to the master bedroom with a wall. “ Sarah walks and looking around wow this place is great it even has an attached bathroom that’s awesome” she smiles happily and Katie beams at the fact that she likes the room. “ so I guess if you want to give me about half an hour just to get cleaned up and then you both can come back in” Sarah says. Katie nods showing her where all the towels and soaps are. Sarah explains that her lease is already on a month-to-month so it’s no problem getting out of it she can move her stuff in tomorrow. They chitchat for a few more minutes before Katie leaves the room gently closing the door behind her.

Katie looks around for Richard finding him sitting on the bed she sits next to him. “ are you sure about this?” He asks holding her hand and looking into her eyes. “ Katie nods I know it’s not really traditional but it will just be once or twice until she’s pregnant.” Richard nods and passionately kisses Katie’s lips. “I’m going to take a quick shower” he says kissing her lips again as he gets up and walks into the master bathroom jumping into the shower.
