So, while still attending bio and making notes of what the prof says, you also want to consider your next wishes. Teak is a tanned, tall guy who appears misty-grey to your color-vision. He has a narrow face, a thin nose and an intense look about him. He is lanky but you observed him in the water before and you know he is quite strong. He is usually also very silent. On the other hand, Luke is a beefy guy with a dark green crew cut, dark green sweatshort and a friendly smile. Luke is also Robert's best friend, apparently, as Robert immediately joins your group with his own tray, right as the five of you get out of the food line in the cafeteria.

Okay, that's a new problem. Robert is the boisterous and curious kind, and by his nature he directly becomes the center of conversation, joking and flirting with Casey. She pretends not to be annoyed, but you know she would like to ditch him from the table as soon as possible. According to your diary, you already fucked Robert on your first evening on campus and his murky-pink eyes that match his entire outfit, indicate that your diary got this right. Your own memory of it is hazy, at best. That must be why Casey is just not interested in having Robert included now, he got a dose of whatever hormone you deal in, and Casey wants to get fresh guinea pigs. That is a pity, you think. Despite being an attention-hog, Robert is outgoing and cool, and you'd really like to refresh your memories with him.

But Casey gets her chance when Robert excuses himself for a toilet break, and you can pounce on Luke and Teak.

"Hey, can I invite you over this night? For, like, some tea?" you wink at Luke. "In my room." To your disappointment, Luke seems interested but reserved. And Teak seems confused which of the two you're talking to. "Casey will be there, too, Teak." Casey beams a dignified smile towards the guy, and looking really stupid for a moment, he suddently gets the idea, and tries to be the cool dude that is down to fuck, whenever the girls ask him out. You can't blame the guy, really. Is he another virgin?

Meanwhile, all you get from Luke is stalling. "Wow, you have some special tea blend there? And is Ashley also going to be there?"

Ashley looks up from her phone and shakes her head. "Nopers, I'm booked elsewhere for the evening. You four can have all the fun you want!" she says and waggles her eyebrows before concentrating back on her texts.

Luke gets an elbow-check by Teak, but scratches his head. He can't be that clueless, can he? "Maaaybe?" he says. "Hey, let's wait until Robert is back here. I need to discuss that with him first."

Oh no. "Ah, that's... maybe not a good idea, you know?" you whisper at him. "I kinda, like, invited him over last week?"

"hiiuuh." he whistles. "Was that before... you know? I mean, you know, you know?" he says.

"I know that you make no sense." you say and playfully pat his head.

"Oh, I mean, the other day when you revealed that you are a mutant." Luke says in a casual tone.

"Shhh, not in public!" you hush him. "I'm okay if the dorm knows, but not everyone in the college!"

"Well, Robert has a theory why you are suddenly a mutant. Oh, hey Robert!"

Um. As far as you know, you're not 'suddenly' a mutant. Your wish was granted retroactive for months, and that means you were a mutant long before you enrolled. Or... not? Are Casey and Ashley not the only ones with memories of the old reality? Or, of a different reality?

Casey bows forward, and motions for Robert to sit down. "A theory about Emcey's mutation? What's that... theory?"

"He thinks there is some chemical substance in our pool's water." Luke says, letting out a guffaw. Teak abruptly turns his head, nervously looking into everyone's face, apparently spooked. "Our pool?" he says with a quavering voice.

Now it's Robert's turn to shush everyone, as he leans on the table, still standing. "Hey, that's not cool! This could be anything, and... and I haven't even checked back with my doctor." Robert's face is flushing red, just a few shades brighter than how his hair and clothes appear in your vision. "Luke, you can't just spread that around! What have you told them?" he says angrily.
