Yes but also no.

In the last second Samus reached farther then she ever had before and grabbed the Zero Suit.

"Yes!" She screamed in joy. grabbing the edge of the ramp and using all her strength Samus quickly propelled herself out of the hatch before it closed. Samus smiled triumphantly as she fell. She had just saved herself a lot of trouble by grabbing a spare zero suit. Now she just had to get to the nearest repair depo. Easy.

Or it should have been.

Because as Samus fell from her ship's hatch to the jungle floor, she suddenly felt the pull of gravity stop and she found herself hanging in the air.

"huh?" Samus said looking up. What she saw turned her triumphant face into one of terror. She had made it out of the ship before the hatch fell, but her Zero suit hadn't. In fact only about 40% of the suit was outside the ship.

"No," Samus said. This couldn't happen. She desperately needed that suit. She quickly pulled herself up and position herself upside down holding the suit. She placed her feet on the gunship and pulled on the blue material with all her strength, but it would not budge.

"No no no!" She screamed as she pulled. All her muscled tightened as she gave a mighty pull with her superhuman strength. "Eeeer. I'm not going. back in public. Without. This!"

Then a ripping sound rang out as the **** of gravity took hold of Samus once again and she tumbled to the ground.

"Owww," She grunted laying naked in the jungle grass. She sat up and looked at what she was grasping in her hand. A chunk of blue fabric. She had managed to rip a piece of her ultra tough and very expensive Zero Suit only to get a fragment that was too small to cover up anything.

Samus looked up to see the rest of the suit swaying in the wind. Now sure she wouldn't be able to yank the thing from the grasp of her gunship, Samus blew some hair out of her face, threw the blue suit piece over her shoulder, and laid back down on ground defeated.
