Chapter 16
by D!$N3Y
Will they make it on time?
Yes and no...
The heroes had gotten into their ship, preparing to take off. The Master, meanwhile was still tied up in Raven's section, struggling to free himself. "Don't bother," Cyborg taunted. "You're playing our game now. You lose? Then you're going to prison." M.G. stopped struggling, wanting to be free as a bird, not be a jailbird.
"Alright, Titans," Robin began, "now that we know our enemy better, what he's capable of, we'll be better equipped to taking him down."
"Yeah! We're gonna totally--" Suddenly, Beast Boy's boast was interrupted by static. As if someone was contacting them...
"This turn of events has become most annoying, Robin."
"Brain," he growled.
"We have your little friends, and they now answer to my allegiance. You can either choose an attempt to save them at the cost of every victim involved, or you may swear your loyalty to me, as well." In the background, Jeremy had morphed his head into a likeness of the Brain's 'face' with Starfire, Raven, and what looked like the other members of the Brotherhood behind him. "Failure to comply, should you agree, or even a hesitant response will be dealt with. Severely. Do. You. Follow?" Robin pounded his fist on the dashboard.
"We'll NEVER serve you, you maniac!" he growled. There was a brief silence before Jeremy/Brain replied.
"Pity. The consequences of your choice will guilt you for days to come." And then the signal was dropped. M.G. smirked at their predicament.
"And all this time, I believed that the boy was hosting this gameshow. Perhaps, somehow, the five villains escaped and took back control..." That very thought was too scary to be true; no one ever broke out of the amulet from the inside. And that's when Garfield was feeling understandably more than nervous.
"He... He wouldn't really hurt them." He paused, thinking of all that's happened, what Jeremy could do. "Would he...?" The feeling of losing his friend, Starfire, and his love interest drained the green from his face.
"It won't come to that, Beast Boy. We won't let it..." They turned the ship sharply, causing M.G. to bang into the side of Raven's cockpit as they head for Paris. They figured if this involved the Brotherhood, then their main base would be where they would 'gather'. Meanwhile, Raven was being treated to a similar massage that he gave to Star, but more gently.
"You're so tense..." he mused. "I guess being a demon's daughter must come with a complete set of tensions. Of all sorts..." He squeezed her ass firmly a few times, making her gasp a bit playfully, then pressured his hands as they moved up her back . "But this massage will help you unwind. Better than meditating, don't you think?" Raven moaned softly, humming with approval.
"Yeah..." she croaked happily. "This does feel good... So good..." She gave out a sigh at the end, smiling as she lapped up the relief and overall ecstasy. They both were too into this chemistry bubbling between them until... *BUZZ* *BUZZ* *BUZZ* The alarm went off and one of Jer's copies came bursting in.
"Intruder alert! Downtown!" Jer stopped what he was doing, telling Raven to get to her station and getting to the main chamber.
"Let's put that team to test." Rouge's influence took over again, speaking, "And maybe to the vall..."
Shall we continue?
