The Master connects the dots.

After the guys freed their pointy-eared foe, he stood across from them in the hall, telling of what happened. "I remember the day I ultimately lost." He helped to paint a mental image for the heroes. "This young man had come in, flashlight in his hand roaming back and forth, until he shined it in my face. I could not blink!" As per the story, Jeremy had climbed up to the flash frozen villains and brought out an ice pick.

"Gotta be careful," he reminded himself. He chipped away around the necklace so he wouldn't damage it, slowly but surely. Finally, he broke the band so he could pull it off the Master. "Got it!" he cheered.

"As soon as he took my amulet off, I heard flashes, recognizing them as hw took prisoners into the amulet. Luckily, he chipped enough of the ice that I could summon enough of my will to completely free myself." He broke the ice around him, and saw what Jeremy had become. Jer turned to face the previous gray usurper, and shapeshifted into a likeness of the Master! "He completely mimicked my appearance perfectly, and then he changed back, stretching one leg down before the rest of him joined." The Master saw that several of the villains, especially the entire Brotherhood, were gone! But Jeremy wasn't done with him yet... Using Madame Rouge's elastic powers, he coiled his arm tightly around the Master and brought him down. Then Jeremy had dragged him along to a base that he had done research on, teleporting them there by using the ruby amulet. "And in three weeks afterwards, he began to collect more and more villains, converging their powers and abilities and made them as his own." And all the time he was weaving that part of the tale, there was a time interval between when he was dropped off to when he came back with electric powers.

"I'm gonna give those Teen Titans a challenge that they've never known before..." Jeremy then fired a stream of electric energy from his eyes, showing off some. The Master showed **** signs of anxiety and fear at his display.

"Ever since then, I've been his prisoner..." "He said it was all part of his plan. A plan I did not understand."

"He's been trying to get to us," Robin figured.

"But we still have no idea where this is going," Cyborg argued. "What does he want? Why go through this whole so-called elaborate scheme?"

"I don't know," his friend confessed. "But we'll find Star and Raven, and he won't get away with this." The three of them suggested taking the Master as a prisoner, tying him back up and gagging him before they all walked back to the T-Ship. Those three were men on a mission now...
