The professor looks like he’s thinking on the matter for a while, his eyes moving between you and wandering the room before he finally shakes his head and laughs.

“Don’t mentions it, and give Tanya my regards, and that I look forward to seeing her in my class again, although if you could remind her of the college policy about professor-student relationships I’d appreciate it, It’s not that she isn’t attractive, it’s just that I like my job,” The professor quickly reels off as he ushers you out of the office and closes the door behind you.

You scratch your head for a moment, and again try and process just what transpired, before giving up and heading back to your dorm, hoping you’ll of thought up of an explanation by the time you get back.
