Yes, but her bad luck continues

"Nonono!" Ley watched helplessly as the bus pulled further and further away, momentarily forgetting about her damaged pants, her only partially covered panty-clad bottom, and the crowds of people filling the street as Ley's one ticket to a better life, the bus that would take her to the application increased too an intangible speed.

Then, the miracle happened, it hit a red light.

Ley almost leapt for joy, but wisely choose instead to make a mad dash towards the the bus.

"Finally, and end to my bad luck!" Ley shouted. (It wasn't, as it happens.)

Ley made it to the door of the bus just before the light changed again. She wrapped intensely on the glass and yelled at the driver until the door opened and Ley climbed in.

"Next time, use a bus stop," the driver grunted.

"Oh my god, thank you for letting me in!" Ley said.

The bus driver gave Ley a judging look as she stood, barefoot, in her pajamas (that where too big) and still partially covered in a white powder.

"Two fifty," The driver said.

"What?" Ley said.

"Two fifty, for the bus ride."

Ley became even paler than she normally was. "Umm, I'm with them. The orphanage."

The bus driver gave a skeptical look. "Then why weren't you at the orphanage?"

"Umm, long story?"

The bus drive grunted. "Two fifty."

Ley looked down at herself. At her pocketless pajamas, and then back up at the driver.

"Um, would you take an IOU?"

There was a ding and the bus door opened behind Ley.

"Hold on, I think I can help sort this out."

Ley stiffened as Jannet sauntered up to the front of the bus. She chrome hair glistening, her fashionable black dress giving her an aura of authority despite her being the same age and position of Ley. Her well-developed chest didn't help either.

"Yes this should be quite easy." Jannet's eyes twinkled as she spoke.
