My Large screen TV soon filled with the faces of my Step-Father, Mother, sister, step-sister, half-sister and step-cousins' faces. My Step-father immediately started chewing me out and belittling me for being late to the call. He then moved immediately to grilling me about his business interests here in South Africa. I could tell that he had already spoken to my handler, his lawyer that was "taking care" of me while I was here in South Africa and that he was just grilling me on it to see what I knew and to make me squirm in front of the female members of our family. Although I don't know how related I really am to my step-cousins, My Step-Dad's two nieces who like the rest of us all worked for my step-Dad. He definitely went easier on everyone else when it was there turns in the spotlight. Especially my half-sister, though to be fair she is just an intern and still in school. In fact, he asked her more about that than the business.

Finally the torturous hour and a half call was over and my Step-Dad abruptly disconnects leaving my female family members and I to say proper goodbyes.
