Chapter 227 by ArthurBalfour ArthurBalfour

Does he see more of the girls after that?

Yes, especially after the wedding.

Finally, the big day came. A ruling from the US Supreme Court meant that Talia and Rachel could finally follow their hearts and get married.

The wedding was a quiet, outdoor affair. Lots of flowers and white lace, to appeal to Talia's conservative family. She was just glad that they agreed to come. Rachel even wore white, though she had the tux to complement her bride's flowing, strapless gown. By way of compromise, the reception had a live rock band blasting until 3am.

It was one of the happiest days of my life, the end of a long journey that had taken me from nervous adolescence to manhood. My wife, my Amy, stood at my side, stubbornly fighting tears as we watched the women who meant so much to us joined in marriage. When the music started and Talia's father handed her off to Rachel, I didn't mind crying a little.

They'd written their own vows, a perfect expression of their unique bond.

"I have had so many wonderful friends," Talia promised, "and I have been blessed to share them with you. They are my stars, but you are my universe...." as she continued, I looked around at the constellation, my bosom buddies. Talia and Rachel, and Corrine, Elizabeth, and Stephanie, my beautiful wife Amy, and our children. Life couldn't be any more perfect.

The end?
