Jamie considered it briefly. "Sure." The face looked hopeful. "But I want to try something first."

He dug into his own attributes and found what he was looking for. Very carefully and with great effort, he produced an exact duplicate of it. He took that duplicate and applied it to the thing in front of him .

She looked up. "Oh, weird. Did you-"

"Yeah," he said. "I made you me."

She looked at herself oddly. "So what does this mean? I still feel like Ashley but I'm not."

He didn't know, although he agreed. The person in front of him was definitely him. It was very strange.

"Do you feel like a man?" Jamie asked curiously.

She answered immediately. "Nope. I still feel like a young woman. I still have all of my attributes other than my skepticism, which makes sense - you didn't take those. I'm still all of the things that Ashley was, I'm just not her. I'm you."

"So what makes you me?"

She turned the question back on him. "You see me as you, right? What makes me Jamie to you?"

"I don't know, exactly. I'm just aware of it. It's like how I'm me or the neighbor's the neighbor. I don't know how I know it, I just know that you are Jamie. It's super weird, right?"

She nodded vigorously. "If you think it's weird for you, how weird do you think it is for me? I'm you! I remember being Ashley but I'm not, it's like my memories and my identity have been split in half."

This was starting to give him a headache. "Ok, Jamie, what do we do next? What do you want to try?"
