Yes, but there is only one room available

"Sorry, we only have one room left," the innkeeper said. He raised his eyebrow quizzingly at Eva's lack of clothing, but made no comment. The other patrons were staring and jeering, but Eva was getting used to it and ignored them for the most part.

They've been all over town, and this was the third inn they came to. "Fine, we'll take it," Eva sighed. She placed the money on the counter and quickly ran up the stairs to their room, away from the stares that followed her. It was barely half the size of her room at home, and the bedding was meager compared to the soft mattress and down pillows she had slept on all her life.

"Don't worry, I'll sleep on the floor," Corwin offered.

"You better not try anything funny," Eva mumbled. She climbed into bed and threw on the covers. The thin blanked shimmered and passed through her, exposing her naked body to the cold night air. Great, Eva thought as she shivered. Whatever curse was placed on her must think the blanket is a robe or something.

"Are you alright?" Corwin asked.

"No! I'm m-miserable and f-freezing!" Eva complained through chattering teeth. Corwin was beside her in an instant, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her close. He had changed out of his suit and into a pair of warm wool pajamas. Eva didn't have the strength to protest, even if she wanted to. With a sigh of relief, she snuggled into his warm embrace.

Eva tried to convince herself it was only because she needed the warmth, but her mind went back to how Corwin's hands had roamed all across her body only hours before. When he began gently rubbing her back and kissed her gently on the lips, Eva returned the kiss hungrily. There was no denying the passion coursing through her body.
