Yes, but reluctantly

After Gina was taking a whole hour to convince Mrs Simons to comply, she finally accepted the contest. Both participants had to sign a contract, that this will be their own responsibility, and whatever happens, they will have to accept that. The school, the teachers and all had nothing to do with this. After Tom and Gina had signed it, they stood in front of the class on separate sides of Mrs Simons' desk. Both felt the adrenalin going up in their bodies as the first questions were asked... What Tom didn't know, is the Gina had been reading book after book for months to gather all possible knowledge for this moment. Will she succed?

Mrs. Simons: First, I want to tell you both, that I greatly disapprove your little showdown... You could have done this outside school and not involve me in it... But I must admit, the sharper the mind of the contestants, the higher to prize to win... And you both are my best students so far, it is only natural for you to want to fight it out. As you have signed it, I'll be the jury and I'll enforce the punishment on the loser. Now, watch out kids, these two will have the fight of the century!
