“Of course, I am. I’m still your mother after all.” Bard said as she gave Serra a hug. “Now why don’t you freshen up while I go show Matt what he is missing.” Kissing her daughter’s cheek, she left leaving Serra alone in the bathroom.

Serra looked at herself in the mirror. Matt had done something to make her younger. After figuring out how he had done it she had used whatever it was to make him married to her. It had not gone the way she had wanted and when she had tried to fix it Matt had stopped her. Serra’s eyes widened as she realized her son must had used whatever it was to make her forget it.

She was finding it a little easier to think now that her body wasn’t screaming for her to have sex. As her brain started to defog, things started to come together. She bit her lip in frustration as she surmised Matt must have changed himself first and whatever he did influenced her.

She straightened her shoulders as she gave herself a nod in the mirror. Heading for the living room she committed to her plan of action. She would play along but keep her eyes open for the agent of change. Once she identified it, she would acquire it in secret and fix everything.
