She said as she started walking towards the pub without any visible care on her face. Tom was still hiding behind the trees and could only watch as Lina kept going further and further... After a few steps she added:

Lina: It is up to you, but me and your clothes are coming this way! See you at my house one way or an other!

Tom: You wouldn't dare to do this! You will turn back after a minute!

Lina: Why would I? I am not the one naked who needs to explain things if seen!

Tom: ...

Lina: See you at home! Have fun on either route! Just don't get arrested!

She just kept walking towards her house... Tom had really expected her to just try to freak him out, but she will turn back... But she just got further and further away... Not even looking back.

Tom (thinking): She will turn back any moment now... She can't just leave me like this...

But she just kept going with all his clothes, even passing the pub as she went... He really started to worry at that point. What is he going to do now?! He can't walk past so many people! Nor can he go back the way they came on his own. She suddenly stopped. She turned back to see him, and started walking back towards him.

Tom (thinking): I knew it! She wouldn't dare to leave me with this whole situation on my own...! But she didn't walk all the way back to him... She stopped halfway between him and the pub in the open.

Lina: I am going to leave your stuff on this street, if you need them, you better come for them quickly, before somebody takes the liberty of liberating you from them!

Tom hoped nobody heard it in the pub, but it was noisy as all the people were chatting. She walked to a spot the people could not see her, behind a bush and put her backpack on the ground. Then she started walking again, and really left him there this time, he watched her making the turn at the end of the street to get on hers, she gave him a final wave, and disappeared from his sight. He had taken a deep breath after a few more minutes of brainstorming, went off trail into the bushes, to get the closest to the backpack, than made a run for it! He quickly got down behind the bush that was hiding his backpack, got dressed and walked past the pub, as if it was all normal. Nobody said anything or gave any sign they had seen any of what has just happened. He walked to her house in a faster than normal pace, she was sitting on a chair in the garden and said:

Lina: Finally, thought you would never make it! But the clothes seem to be a bit odd on you now...

Tom: Haven't you had enough teasing already?!

Lina: Maybe... Maybe not... Maybe I'll continue teasing you the next time we do it again...

Tom didn't even say a single word after that, he was happy he was on safe ground again.

Lina: Do you want to eat something? I made some food before you arrived, to get something to eat when we return.

Tom: After all this day, my hunger knows no bounds!

Her parents were still away for hours. As Tom was about to step in the house Lina shut the door before him and asked:

Lina: Password...?

Tom started laughing and without even trying, gave all his clothes to Lina. He ended up eating in her living room naked, to give a fine ending to all that adventure! As her parents were about to arrive, he got dressed and carried on as if nothing had happened.
