Chapter 10 by AnchorPillar AnchorPillar

Has all Jess done is make you a girl?

Yes, but no?

Walking downstairs you were caught by surprise by your family. They were having breakfast together on a school day, which was weird enough. Secondly you had an additional sibling, in addition to your two younger sisters there was a new brother that appeared to be in between them in age. Third, and most disturbing of all; they all looked like themselves.

You were an asian girl and they were not Asian, Your father had more hair but it was the same greying blonde it has been for years, your mother might have gotten a light tan but that was it. Your sisters looked identical and your new brother definitely took after dad. Porn movie like plots started forming in your head wondering what could be going on. Were you an exchange student? A child from a previous marriage? Stepped onto the set of “Yellow Fever 2069”? Your mind kept spinning as your mother came and hugged you.

“Are you sure you’re ready to return to school? You know the specialist said not to rush it” your mom kissed you on the cheek, her words giving you more questions than answers. Also distracting was you hadn’t appeared to lose any height, if anything mom seemed shorter than usual.

“I’m fine...just everyone is here, I wasn’t expecting that.” Your parents looked like they were afraid but also concerned, like you could just decide to smash them all to pieces. Your older sister was disinterested, your new brother kept stealing glances in between spoonfuls of cereal and your younger sister was excited,

“No matter what happens you’re a member of this family” your mom gave you another hug, which was probably meant to be reassuring only made you uncomfortably aware of your boobs being several sizes larger than hers. “Now come and eat before the eggs get cold” she gently guided you over to the table, where you sat between her and your older sister. Your plate was quickly loaded with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and buttered toast. You had just taken a bite of the toast when your younger sister asked;

“So what’s it like?” The rest of your family glared at her, but it seems she was still a normal five year old and immune to such earth scorching attacks. **** a little you managed to swallow before she continued. “I mean you’re a girl now and Your name isn’t ~~~ anymore, what else?”

“We talked about this Katy,” your father butted in, allowing you to eat your breakfast with no more interruptions, “Don’t ask without an invitation. Awakening is extremely hard on people, especially prolonged awakenings like Hana is going though. And I would have liked for you to get though at least one day showing proper respect to your sister.” Your dad’s infuriatingly incomplete lecture did at least confirm that this was your family, just with an extra kid and you transformed somehow. But why could you not even hear your old name?

You finished your plate as mom and dad took turns keeping Katy in check, who had decided to weaponize ‘but why?’ You were drinking a glass of orange juice as a car honked outside.

“Oh Hana, your ride is here!” Mom looked at the clock on the oven, practically cursing herself for forgetting. You stood up quickly and found your bag, which was more of a courier style purse with stylized flowers on it than the backpack you were accustomed to. Putting it across your chest was something between comfortable and weird feeling as it’s strap easily found it’s way into your cleavage. Than Mom’s goodbye hug was just as distracting as the last two hugs.

“Remember; no milk, no rice, no carrots, make sure to tell the nurse if you start feeling ‘needy’ and we’ll get out the other side just fine. Ok?”

“Yeah Mom, I’ll be fine” hoping that maybe your driver had more answers for you.

Whose the driver?
