She thought about forgetting about it and turning around, but one of the women Veronica was talking to seemed to spot her, and was going to say something. The laughter was even louder than it was for Veronica. All around her, people pulled out their phones to begin recording. The taunts from Veronica and her friends made Alice blush even more.
