She asked, still trying to process the information. Dr. Spencer nodded. "Yes, and with your permission, I'd like to get it out. It will be our chance to study one and it probably isn't safe for you to leave it in there, either."

Vanessa hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Alright," she said, feeling both nervous and intrigued by the idea of having a spermatangium inside her. "But how exactly are you going to remove it?" She asked, her voice quivering slightly.

Dr. Spencer smiled reassuringly. He was holding a speculum that looked menacingly large. "I'll use this to open up your cervix and try to grab the spermatangium without breaking it. I'm sorry, I normally use this on a dolphin, but that's the closest I have at my disposal. It won't hurt, that's why I used the anesthesia on you.
