Yes, Trouble

The cave runs deep and straight allowing the setting sun to illuminate your way as you walk deeper but as the cave starts to curve and descend further in you notice something strange. There appears to be a glow ahead and so you proceed, slowly and carefully. It does not take long for you to find the source, a large cavern with thin glowing strands of silk and glowing speckles on the distant cavern roof. It looks like a large chamber of glow worms.

You smile, finding such beauty in this horrible place lifts your spirits as you start to explore the chamber. The silk threads are mainly clustered in the centre of the cavern and so you edge your way around trying to see if there is another exit to further explore the cave.

You walk around the chamber for several minutes until you think that you must have travelled most the chamber and you start to look for the exit again. As you do your arm brushes one of the silk threads and you feel it pull at the fine hairs on your arm as it does you see the lights dim and start to wonder. You think to yourself that you thought glow worms glowed brighter when they sensed movement. Just as you are thinking this the lights go out and you are plunged into darkness. Worse you hear a wet shuddering growl.

Your blood runs cold as you try and find your way to the exit, you hurry and stumble as the growling grows louder. Your arms pull on more silk threads and then you hear a wet slap and feel the air shift. You freeze, dead still and slowly turn your head trying to see anything in the darkness.

You can still feel the threads of silk stuck to your arm and are worried that if you move the creature will find you, whatever it is. But you cannot stand here and do nothing. It takes several minutes for your eyes to start to adjust but when they finally have you can see the faint glow from the setting sun. You realise you have to move now as if the sun sets fully you will not be able to see anything at all.

Slowly, very slowly, you start to walk towards your escape. You move at a rate which could be measured in feet per hour. Your ears strain to hear anything as you take cautious step after cautious step. And then you feel the threads on your arm pull again and the light returns to the room along with a terrifying roar.

Without looking up you run for the exit but only get a few steps before you feel a sticky tongue strike your bare shoulder. You are pulled over backwards as your momentum tips you over and feel yourself being dragged back into the cave. You look up to see a translucent tongue with suckers covering it has snared you and you follow it back to the creature.

Sure enough you find a glow worm curled up on the ceiling. Three times the length of your body and as wide as your arm span this translucent creature is covered in little pores which exude silk and its body is full of pinpoints of light, each one glowing brightly now.

It’s body shudders as it growls and it drags you towards it slightly more, now your feet struggle to make purchase on the stone floor and you scream. Another pull lifts you from the floor as you try and pull on the tongue to free yourself. Then Gillo enters the chamber, he hesitates and looks up at this massive creature his oft proud cock goes limp with fear. He looks at you and back to the creature his eyes wide.
