Yes, Product Testing

As Vanessa went into the next room, she was surprised to see the room open up. The room was long and wide, and filled with people. Most of the people were employees of the farm but she did see a couple of her classmates looking at some of the machines. Vanessa was also surprised by the variety of products that were being invented and tested. She saw machines for farming, but also clothes and food. There were so many people around that she was beginning to feel overwhelmed. She wanted to find her friend, but she didn’t want to miss out on all of the cool stuff around her. She decided that finding her friend can wait. That was when she heard someone call out to her.

“Hey! You with the wristband!”

Vanessa looked around and noticed that one of the workers was calling over to her. He was a man who looked to be in his early 40s wearing a full body mechanics outfit and a hard hat.

“Hey! You! I see you have one of our wristbands! What score did you get?” He yelled at her again. It was too late for Vanessa to pretend she couldn’t hear him, so she might as well answer.

“Umm, I got an A++” Vanessa said shyly, hoping the man would just leave her alone.

“Damn, that is a really good score,” replied the man, “but I guess that makes sense with those mountains on your chest.” This comment made Vanessa’s face grow bright red as she heard some of the other girls chuckle at the comment.

“Is there a point to you asking that or did you just want to embarrass me!” Vanessa yelled back.

“Wow now Ms. Jugs, I mean no offense.” The man said defensively. “I was just curious if you would like to help me with one of my inventions? I got a few that would be perfect for someone like you.”

Vanessa instinctively went to say no, but stopped herself before she could say it. She wanted to hear what he was working on before she made a decision. “Depends, what are you working on?”

“Oh well I’m glad you asked!” Said the man, excited to tell anyone about his work. “Well, I’ve got a few things. One is a special sports bra, another is this special pill, and my last invention is something I like to call the Cow Catcher. So, what do you say?”
