Yes, Listen in

I approach the shower, hearing a repetitive thumping noise muffled by the door and the sound of the shower’s running water. Emma must be playing music in the shower, though I can’t make out the sound of any other of the instruments.

All I can make out is the backing track of the thumping as well as some loud and difficult to understand singing from Emma. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard Emma sing before, actually!

It’s loud, high pitched, and dragged out. I couldn’t recognize the song that she was singing, but I also can’t make out whatever she’s saying.

“Oh~! Oh~! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh~!” I heard her voice come from the shower. Emma’s singing voice is actually really sweet. While a little loud, it sounds pretty good to listen to.

The percussion got quicker, the thumping becoming more and more rapid. Her voice somehow managed to get even louder, before she let out one final incredible scream.

“AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH~!!!!” Her beautiful singing scream easily penetrated through the other sounds.

The music seemed to end, her singing and the percussion’s thumping over. I wonder what spurred her to listen to music and sing while in the shower this morning?

I decided to go and wait on the couch since she was currently using the bathroom and I couldn’t use it to get ready.

After another ten minutes she finally exited the bathroom. Her hair was damp and sticking to her back, and her slender form was covered only by a towel.

“B-babe?!” She gasped as her eyes locked with mine, jumping up in surprise. “D-did you hear…?”

“Your singing?” I smiled. “Yeah, it sounded wonderful! You should do that more often.”

“O-okay…” Emma blushed, averting her eyes from mine.

“Well, time for me to get ready.” I stood up, stretching. “Mind if I use the restroom?”

“N-no, you can’t!” She suddenly exclaimed.

“Huh?” I looked at her in confusion.

“I…uh…” She faltered for a moment, shuffling back in forth.
