Yes! Use a potion to make sure Bulbasaur doesn't lose!

I wasn't about to lose to Blue of all people. I knew that he would no doubt use me and take my virginity if he had the chance. Pulling the potion from my belt, I knelt down and immediately sprayed Bulbasaur once he was out of melee. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see that Blue was quite frustrated with me doing this. He didn't have any potions on his person apparently.

This battle would be over a lot quicker than he anticipated. Finally, after a particular intense attack, I watched as Charmander dropped to the ground, completely stunned. The battle was over! I had won!

"That was total luck, Leaf." Blue said, returning Charmander to his home. Pulling out his wallet, Blue tossed some cash onto the ground and announced out loud that he was forfeiting the rest of the match. As I expected, our starters were the strongest we both had at this moment. "You aren't worth the time."

Before I could come with some retort, Blue was already walking past me, a definite sneer plastered on his face. I had no doubt bruised his ego with that win, something I was incredibly proud of.

A quick heal at the Center would be in order, and then it was onto Route 2!
