Chapter 4 by blogomatic blogomatic

Is this where she stops (for now)?

Yeah, she's got to get ready for graduation!

Marie was especially proud of herself for including that little clause about the photos and videos. She was starting college in only a few short months and that meant leaving her hometown and everyone she'd ever known behind. With no visual record and a few hundred miles between her and anyone who might witness her shenanigans come September, it would just be baseless gossip that would eventually fade. Then, she could presumably just negate the wish and start her college career with a clean slate and an itch thoroughly scratched.

Marie's thoughts were engulfed by all of her (mostly) consequence free fantasies this notebook could manifest over the summer. Lost bikinis at the beach, dresses caught in car doors, hungry branches gobbling up her clothes as she traversed the park, or even windy gales blowing her dress clean off. They were all scenarios that had an upward limit of a handful of people at most and thus a degree of plausible deniability. Her hand traced the curve of her bra and drifted slowly down her navel into her panties. She plunged her index finger into herself and let out a hungry moan when a sudden knock at her door jarred her from her reverie.

Before she could yank her hand out of her panties, the door opened a crack and the eye of Marie's mother appeared through it. "Marie, t-minus one hour till we have to be on the road for graduation! Get your butt in gear if it isn't already! We can't have the school's Valedictorian be late!" shutting the door promptly after delivering the message with a tonal mishmash of chastisement and pride.

Marie sat there for moment, the flush in her cheeks fading slowly as she sat there catching her breath. It seemed like her mother either hadn't noticed or didn't realize what she was doing. Once her heart settled, it reignited again when her mother's message finally settled in! She had completely forgotten that today was graduation! She had to get ready! Her wish and the notebook were pushed out of her head as she bounced between the bathroom for a quick shower (no time to wash her hair!!), to her dresser and closet (she opted to go for a pair of white no-show panties beneath her ruffly floral dress that was her Sunday Best), back to the bathroom for hair and make-up, and then back again to her closet for her cap, gown, and heels.

She was almost out the door when she remembered the folio that contained her speech. When she came back to retrieve it, it sat neatly on her desk next to the innocuous looking notebook she'd found earlier that day. She felt a gentle stirring of a memory, but not quickly enough that it amounted to anything before she was butt-in-seat in the family car and well on her way to the ceremony. As the car rounded the turn into the parking lot, the gentle stirring was suddenly replaced with alarm bells.

Being naked in front of every single person that made up her class, school faculty, family, and assorted well-wishers was not what she had in mind when she wrote that fantasy in the notebook.

Does she try to convince her mother to take her home or does she hope for the best and go through with it?
