Yeah, of course

Without any other choice, I assented. "Okay, deal."

There had to be a catch, right? No way was a girl this dumb, or petty, or oblivious. Still, she knew I was here now, so if I said no she would warn the others. The other girls that she was offering up to me on a platter. Or so she claimed.

She smirked, and stepped forward to reach for the window latch. _This is one trusting girl, _I thought. She didn't even tell me to back away from the window when she unlocked the only thing stopping me from grabbing her and making her mine. I didn't wait more than a moment before testing the window. It slid open easily, granting me access to climb down into the room. By the time I had navigated the meter drop, stepping on boxes and dropping the last bit onto my feet, she had backed up halfway across the room. So she isn't completely fearless.

There was a silent stand-off for a moment as we both evaluated the new situation. For all her bluster, she didn't really seem to know what to do now.

I broke the impasse, my decision clarifying immediately in my mind.
